Were you really? One of Napoleon's? I'm a descendent of the Duke of Guise, maybe I should apply to the Sorbonne?geoduck wrote:I too failed to mention my distant aristocratic relations. Yeah, one of Napoleon's. The Prince of Neuchâtel. We should march upon the Sorbonne and demand our acceptances!minnbills wrote:Were you really? One of Napoleon's? We should go to La Sorbonne, who are they to deny our aristocratic privelege?

Re: Descendant of Ezra Cornell
I imagine that these types of legacies, direct descendants of the founder, hoping to attend the law school that their ancestors founded is quite rare. (These descendants must graduate from high school, graduate from college, want to attend law school, want to become a lawyer, and score well on the LSAT. The odds are remote. I can only imagine that there are a handful of people who have applied to a top law school being a direct descendent of the founder.)
Since, it is so rare, I think it is almost impossible for anyone to answer and I don't think you can get a factual answer with historical evidence on this board.
Do I think you have a good chance? I would say yes, but this is just a guess on my part.
Really, though I mean what is the question you have here? You take the LSAT, you pay the 80 bucks and apply, and see if they accept you. No one is going to tell you to do anything different here. There is nothing you can do but apply.

My great great grandfather was John University of Chicago. Will this help me out?

You'd still need a 170+ LSAT score I imagine. Why didn't you attend Cornell for undergrad? Did you apply, and if so, how did that go? If not, why not?

My family ties to Ted Bundy helped me get into mortuary school. I think your ties could help you too.

Yeah but it can get hard to tell without DNA. Hell, sometimes mixed-race parents pop out fraternal twins where one is ivory and one is ebony. The white one's still AA, but she's definitely gonna get some funny looks whenever she marks it down.paulinaporizkova wrote:i dunno man, that one drop minimum can last a real long timealiarrow wrote:The babies were half and half, so if any of them got with white girls the black wouldn't even be discernible anymorepaulinaporizkova wrote:i didn't know TTH was blackaliarrow wrote:
