Re: I've come down with the itis
Just did horribly on a (lol astronomy) class. FML. I may be reapplying next cycle so I just realized grades matter...

Sometimes teachs will cut you a break if you're about to graduate, you should try to talk to some of em and explain your situation.
I turned 21 during my last quarter of college, to this day I'm still shocked that I did so well and didn't have to stay for an extra quarter

So envious, that sounds amazing.kjadkins wrote:I literally only need to pass one of my classes to graduate... I'm taking the minimum credits for full-time students, one of which is "Adventure Games" (basically, playing outside). The amount of fuck I do not give is ridiculous.
I have terrible senioritis, and I still have to take graded classes -_-

Re: I've come down with the itis
I find my problem isn't so much that I'm burnt out; it's that most of the classes I have left are filled with people that don't care about their education and don't try. Sick of tests that are pure memorization from professors that tell us the first day that we are going to have meaningful discussions about concepts and learn from each other. Sick of professors that critique my papers because I didn't write about something the way they think of it. Sick of hearing people brag about how little time they spend studying.
It's time to move on. And enjoy my volleyball class.

I definitely feel you guys on having seniorits. It's so hard to stay motivated after being accepted to a law school you want to go to lol.
PS- I bombed a Human Evolution test, I probably should have studied more than 2 hours for it

Took very easy classes this semester, figured this would happen.
Should get all As maybe a couple of B+ without too much work.

Re: I've come down with the itis
Don't know if anyone noticed that I have two threads up pertaining to this situation simultaneously but I have decided to drop that class. I just realized that I still have enough credits to graduate without it. Now, I am even less motivated than ever but at least I don't have to worry about that bullshit class.
I am not good a at math, but I have learned this equation:
Being accepted in T10 schools (or any school that you are EXTREMELY content with) before you graduate UG = not giving a fuck about UG
And to think I started off this semester with 18 credits...must have been high. Taking 12 credits and it feels SO good!

Re: I've come down with the itis
I had a finance test this morning at 9:30 and told myself I would wake up at 7, cram for it, and call it good. Instead I went to bed at 2 last night, slept in until 9:15, and took the test cold.
I'm expecting a C- or so and I truly couldn't care less. The only painful part is that by applying to LS next year, my LSDAS gpa is going to go down

Whoa...Whoa...Whoa...You've got it all backwards. You get accepted FIRST, and then you don't give a shit about UG- not the other way around! If you're are going to be a slacker you have to be one at the right time. If you follow exactly what I say, you will bust your ass when it counts and sleep until noon everyday when it doesn't.
