Dumb assumption.
JUST GOT EMAILS FROM C, C AND N. THEY ALL SAID "NO SCHOLLY FOR YOU." NOW YOU DON'T HAVE TO ASSUME ANYTHING.
So tell me, dude, what should I do?
I will bump this thread every day until Rad Law gives me advice, assuming that I don't get into HYS and get no money from CCN. Balls in your court.

So you give a 180 to the Lebron reference on the first page yet you see no humor in this? You seem dumb.

If you can, I might seriously look at the possibility of taking a year or more off. Not necessarily so that you can reapply next year, but maybe so you can get some law-related job or something. That way, when you reapply, you're A) absolutely sure you want to go to law school, and B) can craft a really good personal statement with solid supporting evidence about why you want to go. Plus, your resume will probably be way awesomer. That's not a real word, but whatev.

He called you "dumb"? A B- seems a rather high mark for that performance.

Wait for scholarship offers; if not pleased, refine PS and apply early next cycle.

My advice to you is to start drinking heavily.
Dude, maybe you turned in a sloppy app. Maybe your ps sucked. If it is one of those things, they will prob ding you even if you have a high score.

My application wasn't sloppy. CANADIAN WOLF read my ps (which I posted under a different moniker) and said that it was "pretty good." I'm thinking of sending Stanford a LOCI even though I'm not on the waitlist because I didn't really tailor anything n my original app to Stanford.

yeah, I mentioned Canadian Wolf's critique to show that it wasn't sloppy, not to say that it was brilliant or anything. But if you want to be a douche then that's cool too.

CW is normally very tough on personal statements, so my comment was actually a compliment.

You have a 3.9/177 the only way you get dinged out of $$$ at CLS is bad ps, shitty lors, or sloppy app.

If I was in your situation, assuming no money from CCN, I would wait a year and reapply. Rewrite your personal statement. Try to find an interesting job and do some volunteer work. If no work ideas--you should probably be able to get a job as a PR or kaplan teacher, maybe powerscore/blueprint/testmasters if you have any teaching/tutoring experience. Find a public interest legal organization near you that your interested in and see if they take interns/volunteers (if there is no formal process set up, just write them and explain your situation--you are planning on attended law school next year and will work for free for the experience). Try to build a better relationship with the current LOR writers and/or try to find new ones.
Something was wrong with your app to be shut out of HYS and get no money at CNN, and it wasn't the "late" application date (though this time around, have everything ready to go within the first few weeks of when a school's app opens up).

Lol so what.
CanadianWolf also said my PS sucked but then RevisionEdit refunded my money because she thought it was so good nothing had to be changed.
No offense to CW.
