Re: Fee Waiver from Washington & Lee?
They sent me a huge packet/view-book yesterday. I have also received at least four emails (one with "fee waiver" lol) and one or two letters in the past 2-3 months. The LSAC ABA guide to W&L shows 6 out of 97 people that applied in my category being admitted last year... Kind of overboard for a boost in selectivity IMHO.

I'm applying just because the other legal assistant at the law firm I work at goes there and my boss really likes the school.

3.1 160 and got a fee waiver. My only shot is their wanting someone from Louisiana and being the only one to apply.

I received a viewbook from them and it seems like a nice school, although quite far away from home.

3.21 163, got the same stack of emails and mailings saying please apply. It is ALMOST as bad as some of the Fourth-tier schools hounding (practically had to get a restraining order for Phoenix). Seems like a nice place but I don't have any intention of applying. I don't think I have a snowballs chance of getting in, seemed like a drive to raise selectivity. I don't blame them, when your in that general region with SO many other law schools competing with you it is not an unreasonable approach and as another poster mentioned...it's really not a bad deal for all parties.
