It makes sense if it was Michigan. Cooley graduates more people than any other law school in the coutry. Even if half the class goes straight to work at McDonalds and never practices, the other half alone would add more new lawyers per year than the next largest law school graduating class.URMdan wrote:My internship at an AG office consisted of many Cooley grads. If I had to pick one institution that was most represented, it would be Cooley hands down. They say that CoOoley is easy to get into, but they make you work hard to stay in which apparently is why the attrition rate is so high.

Not Michigan. The fact that they are AA women explains it.nealric wrote:It makes sense if it was Michigan. Cooley graduates more people than any other law school in the coutry. There usually aren't many T14 prosecutors because of the poor pay. Every T14 grad I knew there wasn't doing it as a career. They were hired by firms and had to complete like a year of public service work which is like basic training for them.

Dan, I'm clearly missing something here. How is their race relevant?URMdan wrote:Not Michigan. The fact that they are AA women explains it.nealric wrote:It makes sense if it was Michigan. If anything, I'm surprised that Cooley has many African American students. With URM status contributing to higher placement in law schools, I would think that black students would be able to go to better schools than Cooley even if their grades weren't tremendous.

lol, this thing is great. It doesn't actually beat NYU though, which is obviously wrong. I guess it's because the calculator doesn't include lay prestige, where Cooley obviously beats NYU (cooler name).bmwhype2 wrote:i'm pretty sure this has been brought up multiple times but i just found out about this report generator today.

YOU HAVE NOTHING AND I HAVE EVERYTHING!username99 wrote:As a Cooley Law School graduate and law firm partner, I feel obliged to comment on your baseless slandering of my alma mater. Cooley may not be the highest ranked law school, may not have the most famous alumni, may not be an accredited institution, may not have both male and female restrooms in its buildings, may not have "professors" or "faculty", may not have books in its library, may not have a library that is not a boiler room, may not have a working boiler room, may not even be a law school...but I guarantee that we are the best email senders in the business.

This thread is old, as are random posts making fun of Cooley. Yes, they suck, we get it. I award you no points.
