Do you have to apply for Priority Track? I just got offered an extremely surprising (3.88/165/non-URM) fee waiver, but no PT.

Got the PT invite - 3.85 / 170

Two questions

1) How the hell did their medians go up that much? If I remember correctly, their median used to be 169 or so. Their 75th percentile was like a 3.83, which you're saying is their median now??

2) What's our likelihood of schollys? :D

I think most on this thread didn't, but I have heard of people on TLS e-mailing them late August / early Sept and requesting one and receiving it.

I guess I'll be emailing Duke in a few weeks asking for a fee waiver and PT. :|

Yay Knock!

Got it too, probably applying until the second week of September or so (whenever my LORs come in and I finish this pesky PS!)

Because of your strong 3.88 GPA...but you said you were "offered a fee waiver," that's different than Priority Track.

Sonofabitch. 4.0/170 signed up for CRS last year/haven't done the forum thing till today. Anyone know if this is the only time they'll be sending out PT invites? Or is it done continuously?

Sigh. I just did the forum thing today as well (registered for CRS last year, took the lsat last september, went to a forum in february.)

Numbers are 174/3.68...I feel like I should have gotten it? Has anyone emailed them yet asking for one?

Yeah, based on all the numbers I've seen, you should be in. I think I'm going to give them a week or two now that I've signed up for the forum. If something doesn't come by then I'll try the email method.

This might be a dumb question. I know PT isn't binding, but will Duke and/or LSAC notify other schools that you're pursuing PT through Duke, or is it just like applying to another law school RD?

So to be clear, Duke is already accepting apps or just PT apps? I got the fee waiver but not the PT invite.

What is this "forum" that everyone is talking about?

I have a 3.69/170. Has anyone received PT with similar numbers?

Anyone get one with a 3.4x? I have a 173 so I am surprised I got nothing.

"Forum"= the law school forums that LSAC offers on their website. Apparently, when you sign up for one your account is considered "active" and you will show up in schools' CRS searches. This only applies if you signed up for CRS over a year ago.

ETA they are free and it doesn't matter if you actually go or not.

I did not get a PT invitation, though I did get a fee waiver, with a 3.5 and 177.

This is from the TLS article with decision date graphs, and I thought it'd be good to repost because there are entirely separate data sets for PT applicants:
