When to formally switch major Forum

A negative in legal hiring? Isn't it all that matters is my law degree? I already have a job (hence why I need the flexibility of the general studies degree).

BTW - I realize it would be a moral issue to misrepresent myself, I guess my question was whether I need to hurry up and track down the right people to change the major before I submit my transcript or after - b/c either way I wasn't sure adcomms would give a rip. But secondarily, its nice to see all the opinions on the general studies v. poli sci. I was curious.
