Whether you qualify as a URM or not will dramatically change where you can get in.

It might not. Law schools don't like low GPA URMs, even with high LSATs.Dr. Strangelove wrote:Whether you qualify as a URM or not will dramatically change where you can get in.
In any case, OP, is 2.43 your LSDAS GPA? Did you go to UG in a foreign country? Sometimes their scales are different.

Is there evidence that suggests this?rayiner wrote:It might not. Law schools don't like low GPA URMs, even with high LSATs.Dr. Strangelove wrote:Whether you qualify as a URM or not will dramatically change where you can get in.

Yes, in so much as splits like this are very rare to begin with. This cycle, hopefulundergrad didn't crack CCN despite being a black male with a 171 (2.7 UGPA).r2b2ct wrote:Is there evidence that suggests this?rayiner wrote:It might not. From my cycle:

OP being URM will open up Virginia and Penn in addition to Northwestern and Georgetown, but he'll still be shut out of T6.

Thanks for the info. I think a lot of T14s have strict GPA floors, but it is good to know that some are still open to super splitters URMs.
