This thread raises an interesting question. Which is worse
A) Apply to a bunch of schools across the spectrum, get into a few shitty ones, some surprise dings, still have option of law school
or
B) Go Big or Go Home attitude, get shut out of T14, do something else with life.
Well, I can say I have one of the worst cycles this year. Forum

While I tend to agree with this, there is something to be said for the intangible benefits of having a law career for the rare person willing to labor in the law with little compensatory incentiveJustDude wrote:B is better. The T14 or bust notion does not go everyone. Obviously, if you want biglaw then you better go to a great school. However, if you have more modest aspirations (i.e. public defense, ADA in small town, or any other PI job), a strong regional school will suffice IMO.
