Has anyone had any luck with the following schools:

BU (w/out request), GW, Cornell, and Fordham

Should I start sending email requests? I don't want to email the schools if they dont have a history of giving waivers.

Only BU out of the 4.

Requested UT fee waiver by e-mail and got the "we don't give out..." response in less than 5 minutes.

I didn't want it and got it. But the whole "you have three days to apply" is a bit stupid.. That isn't even enough time for me to research the school..

I also have a NYU fee waiver now.

Was that a mailed or hidden waiver?

EDIT: Also got NYU hidden waiver now. Just waiting for CLS for a t14 sweep of schools that actually give merit fee waivers.

I don't have columbia, UV, or Georgetown.. Just finished the primary apps and waiting.. I have 25 or so e-mailed and a bunch of hidden.

How long you going to wait Geepee?

Well... I have to wait for LOR's which are about 2 months in the making. So, I'll probably be waiting for at least another week or 2 even though my parts of the apps are done. I would have no problem paying for CLS, it's just a little frustrating knowing that other people with around my stats have gotten a waiver that is supposed to be 100% based on the LSAT and I haven't.

Yeah. I didn't get one from Cornell, NYU, or CLS. I must not have marked "New York" in my preferences on the CRS.

I bet if their office is flooded with calls saying "I am interested in applying but three days simply isn't enough time" they will extend the deadline. Oh well, I was never going to apply there anyway.

They started sending out emails over a week ago; I'm not sure whats the deal with this last batch.

How is three days not enough time? There are no supplemental essays, and the application takes 5 minutes.

Edit: Because maybe some people aren't freaks and didn't get their LORs in and PS done in August like me. Sorry to be an ass.

I have no idea what you are saying here. The before edit and after edit seem to be in opposition... My LOR's and PS are done, but I tailor my applications to each school I apply to.. Plus I don't know about the school so I would read up on them and see if I am really interested...

In regard to three days being enough time... I filled out the paperwork about a week and a half ago for my updated transcripts to be sent to LSAC. They still haven't been processed. Same with two LORs that were sent last week.

They dont do Merit but they have a pretty liberal Need Based program.
