So my status changed from 12/19 to 12/12 today. Did this happen to anyone else? Any idea what it might mean?

Are we ever going to hear from them? seems like it's been forever already. Is there anyone else with both the updates just sitting at 1/16?

Good to hear that there are others of us out there!!! I was hoping that maybe we would hear last Friday, but obviously not. Do you think we'll just have to wait until February? I wonder why they admitted some a couple of weeks ago?

pretty sure they were people that should have been accepted as auto-admits, but they just wanted a LOCI to see if they were serious.
the rest of us stuck at 1/16 seem to be on the fence

I only sent them like a one sentence e-mail telling them that I wasn't withdrawing, and I'm pretty sure a bunch of others in the group were similarly nondescript.cornelius10 wrote:pretty sure they were people that should have been accepted as auto-admits, but they just wanted a LOCI to see if they were serious.

That's what I did. I planned on writing a LOCI, but they admitted me before I had the chance. For reference, 3.38/170Crowing wrote:I only sent them like a one sentence e-mail telling them that I wasn't withdrawing, and I'm pretty sure a bunch of others in the group were similarly nondescript.cornelius10 wrote:pretty sure they were people that should have been accepted as auto-admits, but they just wanted a LOCI to see if they were serious.

Or for me, I'm trying to find the fence so I wrote the LOCI of my life.cornelius10 wrote:pretty sure they were people that should have been accepted as auto-admits, but they just wanted a LOCI to see if they were serious.

It was high class begging with a smidgen of recent awards and updates... with a side of desperation.

166 LSAT is still hard for them to swallow though

Here's hoping they stick to the 167 median and just toss a bunch 166's below knowing full well we'll pay full price. Because I will.RetakeFrenzy wrote:That's pretty much what I did too...dproduct wrote:Or for me, I'm trying to find the fence so I wrote the LOCI of my life.cornelius10 wrote:pretty sure they were people that should have been accepted as auto-admits, but they just wanted a LOCI to see if they were serious.

I'm okay with this. I'll wait until July if it means an acceptance.T20hopeful89 wrote:They are seriously going to make us wait until February for a decision, aren't they....

Shouldn't we expect to hear back after Feb 1st, despite the fact that some people have been accepted already. In their initial email, it said "Your application will be considered again after our February 1st deadline along with our regular admission applications". Patience.
