Same. Except actually, he just informed me there would be no fee this year. Not sure if that's the same thing...

Every time I get an email from Valparaiso, I feel like I'm being solicited by a Brazilian law school, and I start hearing the bossa nova beat in my head...

Received snail mail from liberty and mercer, yay
Has anyone began soliciting waivers yet or is the consensus is it is still way too early for that?

I emailed GULC and they granted me a fee waiver. Just a heads up.

I'm about to write up letters to CCNMVPDNCG and send them off in the next few days. I've been thinking that late August is the best time to solicit.confusedlaw wrote:Received snail mail from liberty and mercer, yay

Solicit after a school has sent out its first wave of CRS waivers. Most schools will just tell you to wait for that anyway.confusedlaw wrote:Has anyone began soliciting waivers yet or is the consensus is it is still way too early for that?

Good idea. It is frustrating because I want to apply as early as possible and not wait until I get all the waivers.Dany wrote:Solicit after a school has sent out its first wave of CRS waivers. I promise, promise, promise you guys that you don't need to apply September 1. If a school expected you to apply as soon as applications were open, they'd send out their waivers before then. I applied in November and was in the first batch of decisions for schools like Chicago, NYU, Cornell, etc. I know you're all anxious to get everything in, but it is really perfectly fine to wait for schools to get going with things like fee waivers.

My thinking is, if you're submitting before the ED deadline, you're submitting early.Dany wrote:I promise, promise, promise you guys that you don't need to apply September 1. I just emailed Duke and a representative said that the fee waivers and priority track invitations are going to be sent next week. He was nice enough to check if I was on the list.

Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
I don't have an LSAT score on the LSAC site yet, but suddenly I'm getting a lot of emails from law schools. They don't have a fee waiver in them, but they look like fee waiver emails. I suspect if I had a score, they might be waiver emails.

Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
I took the February 2011 LSAT and got a 175 but I have yet to receive a single fee waiver

I signed up for CRS on May 31st but just checked and it looks like I didn't fill in the box for expected law school enrollment year.
Could this be why I haven't been receiving anything? Now that I've put in 2012, will I still get fee waivers from the schools who have already sent them out?

Give me your 175, and I'll be happy to answer that question.roguewave19 wrote:I took the February 2011 LSAT and got a 175 but I have yet to receive a single fee waiver![]()

ETA: Fine. Yes. You should start to get fee waivers. For those that have already been sent out, I'm sure they'll have another round out once applications and/or October scores become available.
