I sent Michigan an email requesting a fee waiver and they just wrote me back saying they've received an "unprecedented" number of requests this year.



Oh well, felt pretty good to delete an application from my school list, anyway!

heh yeah, it's not like I'm regretting not getting any law school junk-mail, was just curious.

Most of the things I get are from schools, which I signed up to get info from ... and you usually give your email and your physical address as well.

Any other September takers not receive anything via snail mail? Maybe I turned that option off or something...

As of sunday I haven't received anything (its getting sent to my home address not my school address so I had to ask the parents). But my parents don't approve of me going to law school so maybe they're just throwing it away.

That's gotta be it. Are you imagining them picking up viewbooks and letters just cursing them and throwing them in the paper recycling?

Did anyone receive view books from Brooklyn and Notre Dame? Did they have fee waivers? I can't check because I'm too far from home and my parents are too lazy to read the letters.

I got something from Notre Dame but I'm on their list. Just a viewbook. No fee waiver from what I found.

My friend got one that mentioned their International Law program, because she indicated she was interested in that on CRS. I got the exact same note, but with no personalized message. I guess I'm just not as interesting.

that phoenix e-mail creeped me out just now. they stated my gpa down the the hundredth place, my lsat and basically offered to give me a tenured professorship. i'm thinking about drafting a hilarious rejection letter for all the ttts that have dared to flaunt their wares around me.

Just make sure you aren't disrespectful. I am sure even some TTT admissions people are on first name basis with T14 admission crews.

I received an unsolicited viewbook from Michigan with a letter that was not personalized (but still pretty good with the story about being from the "other coast") and no fee waiver. Still kinda interesting I got one at 164.

Just got one from UIUC that seemed personalized, had a section on "Women in Law." Unless they just send that to everyone who marked their sex as female.
