I sent Michigan an email requesting a fee waiver and they just wrote me back saying they've received an "unprecedented" number of requests this year.

Oh well, felt pretty good to delete an application from my school list, anyway!

Most of the things I get are from schools, which I signed up to get info from ... and you usually give your email and your physical address as well.

As of sunday I haven't received anything (its getting sent to my home address not my school address so I had to ask the parents). But my parents don't approve of me going to law school so maybe they're just throwing it away.

Just started getting snail mail today, picking up BU, SMU, George Mason and St. John's all w/ waivers.

That's gotta be it. Are you imagining them picking up viewbooks and letters just cursing them and throwing them in the paper recycling?

Did anyone receive view books from Brooklyn and Notre Dame? Did they have fee waivers? I can't check because I'm too far from home and my parents are too lazy to read the letters.

I got something from Notre Dame but I'm on their list. Just a viewbook. No fee waiver from what I found.

Did you get a cute signed letter from Dean Zearfoss with a personalized note? I found it pretty touching.
Note details?
She said something to me about how they love to get math majors to come to Michigan and that she looks forward to reading my application.

My friend got one that mentioned their International Law program, because she indicated she was interested in that on CRS. I got the exact same note, but with no personalized message. I guess I'm just not as interesting.

Just make sure you aren't disrespectful. I am sure even some TTT admissions people are on first name basis with T14 admission crews.

I received an unsolicited viewbook from Michigan with a letter that was not personalized (but still pretty good with the story about being from the "other coast") and no fee waiver. Still kinda interesting I got one at 164.

Got UPenn through snail mail. However, I think they sent that to me so that they could reject me to make them look more selective....

I got Michigan merit waiver by request but no viewbook or follow up from Dean Z.

But seriously, are you guys all retaking in December? I would think that most people who took in June and Sept and are neurotic enough to update this thread daily would have already sent out all their apps.

Just received two targeted e-mails & fee waivers from University of Illinois: one for women in and law and the other for Latinos.

Neurotic =/= Together

Just got one from UIUC that seemed personalized, had a section on "Women in Law." Unless they just send that to everyone who marked their sex as female.
