Interesting.

I wonder what the story is behind the one part-time student?

Also, I thought that Wisconsin graduates were waived past the Wisconsin bar exam, yet it appears one student "failed" the WI bar, how did the pull that off?
Some people, despite being waived into it, choose to take it as a "rite of passage" to experience the bar exam.
If they fail to pass, then they just waive into it as usual. It's dumb but yeah, I know someone who did that.
It seems extraordinarily deceptive to post Wisconsin's figures on the 509 under the heading "Bar Passage Rates" -- and then show the extent to which Wisconsin exceeded the Wisconsin state average. If the heading were "Bar Admission Rates" -- well, fine, but the heading here refers to those who passed, not for whom the exam was waived. If they need to list something here, they should instead be listing the bar passage rates of those students who took some state other than Wisconsin, as well as those who actually took the Wisconsin for fun. That is, to give a sense of how many Wisconsin students actually pass a test. Similarly, they should not be able to count 100% bar passage for US News ranking purposes, unless 100% of those who actually took a test passed.

they offered near full rides to 50 students who have (a) a 3.6 or higher and (b) a 157 or higher
idk how much it matters, 40.2% of the matrics were in the half to full category anyways according to their 2013 509

That's pretty generous for people with pretty mediocre stats. Good for them for not being stingy, I guess.

Looks like GWU is up... apologies if someone already posted the numbers, but I didn't see them in the pages I browsed.

Total
25% = 3.42 / 159
50% = 3.71 / 165
75% = 3.80 (-0.02) / 166 (-1)
enrolled: 539 (+58)

Full-Time
25% = 3.43 (+0.02) / 160
50% = 3.71 / 165
75% = 3.81 (-0.01) / 166 (-1)
enrolled: 504 (+71)
* 24 not included in percentile rank

Part-Time
25% = 3.25 (-0.28) / 150 (-4)
50% = 3.70 / 159 (-1)
75% = 3.74 (-0.10) / 165
enrolled: 35 (-13)

I'm surprised GW's median didn't fall like Georgetown.

Did they throw out any money? Because I had strong ties and was above both medians and they still lowballed me. Tried negotiating and they raised it by $1k per year. Maybe they just hated me.

I don't know about this past year specifically but I know they were stingy two cycles ago. They have a Notre Dame-esque philosophy on negotiation.
I also think they're public interest oriented so they figure so they probably push LRAP on the back-end and that figures into their aid negotiation somehow.

Wow. While a 180 to a 170 is only 2.5 percentile points different (i.e. negligible), a 156 = top 67-68% and 146 = top 28-30% of LSAT takers.
