Re: Unsolicited Fee Waivers 2017
So did people who got UCLA and USC get them within 10 minutes of each other?
I got the impression that UCLA knew when USC released and sent thiers out at the same time lol

Did you all have them on your school list on LSAC? (USC, UCLA) I received neither but I've also kept Cali schools off my list.

What are thoughts on soliciting Duke PT? I asked for a waiver, got the response to follow up with a different dude, when I do that, do I just basically repeat my request for a waiver or do I also ask for PT? Either way, how do I word it?

I was in a similar position and wrote to the recommended contact, who was helpful and accommodating. I didn't ask for PT so I don't know if that's an option, but I was granted a waiver pretty quickly when I asked for one. He did ask me for some information on my background and my reasons for applying to duke, so I wrote a brief, informal PS-style response to address those questions. I'd suggest just asking for both, and asking if they would need any more information which would help them make a decision in your case.joeytribbiani wrote:What are thoughts on soliciting Duke PT? I wasn't going to apply to those two, but I think I will now.

I tried soliciting yesterday. Was politely denied.Kopetz wrote:I was in a similar position and wrote to the recommended contact, who was helpful and accommodating.
