I'm not from the South and I've never been there, but surely Alabama is the place and school for you. JFC, their idiotic legislature just voted to put the 10 commandments in government buildings, even though they know it is unconstitutional. It seems like the most backward , judgemental and hateful state. They put tons of limited government resources into fighting for unconstitutional shit like their harsh immigration law and fighting same sex marriage and limiting voting rights in any way possible.

They also have almost no property taxes but the sales tax in some places is more than.NYC

Someone just died from snake bites because he believed that God protected him from it. There was a TV show about his church.

The list goes on and on.

You would fit in perfectly. You can spend all your time judging others and witnessing to them at parties while at the same time hating anyone who doesn't speak English or isn't white.

There is no other location that could suit you as well.

Plus, Alabama games their yield numbers by giving people free iTunes cards for applying. So you could probably find some lite Christian rock on iTunes for free.

The term "wine" was given to all grape juice, both fermented and non-fermented, until Welch's coined the term "grape juice" in the early 19th century.
Just a little history lesson...
No idea how any Christian could believe this. The wine had booze in it, bro.
Source? (genuinely curious)
The truth is the New Testament (and the Septuagint [Greek translation of the Old Testament]) uses the word oinos, which is a Greek catchall for any grape-based beverage: fermented/non-fermented/boiled/vinegared (e.g. Aristotle uses the term in Meterology to refer to unfermented/boiled grapes aka grape juice). I don't see how people deny that the Bible makes reference to alcoholic wine some of the time, though.
Luke 1:15 wrote:For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink...
Luke 7:34 wrote:The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!
Romans 14:21 wrote:It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
You get the point.
Alex might be one if the dumbest posters in here in a long time.

Plus there are context clues. The wedding guests were shocked they brought out the highest quality wine at the end of the night. You bring out the shitty wine at the end because everyone is wasted and can't tell the difference.

I will right here, personally, offer to give OP a personal tour of our fine campus, both the law and divinity schools, and vouch for him to the faculty.

But only if he comes to High Latin Mass with me the Sunday after.

Your ideology of going to the gold standard indicates that you have really no knowledge of economics and basic financial principles. I don't care about your religious beliefs, but there is just bad policy any way you spin it.

Lol@ alcohol-free grape juice in the 1st century. What, you think they had refrigeration and flash pasteurization figured out back then? Any grape juice they had would have fermented pretty soon, so except for a few weeks in the year around the grape-picking season they were drinking alcohol.

Dude. You guys are forgetting this was claimed to be a "miracle."

No need to analyze this by real-world standards... God snapped his fingers and made the purple drank, just like he snapped sweet sweet Alex into existence.

Look man, I used to be a hardcore libertarian. Ron Paul, Gary Johnson, Murray Rothbard and all that jazz. Despite your overly pedantic arguments you're not even representing libertarianism correctly. And your straw man counterpoints about the definition of "liberal" make you look like a complete asshat.
