Re: Post December LSAT Fee Waivers?
I got a 168 and am getting waivers from what everyone else in this thread has been getting. I have a 4.0 though, so that may be helping.evergirl23 wrote:Do those getting UCLA / Duke / GULC all have LSAT scores of 170 or above? I am really regretting missing those 4 additional questions right now...

Oh, I thought that, but then I know most people use NA for Native American, so I decided to ask. Congrats on the waivers.addendumquestion wrote:American Indian.kwhitegocubs wrote:What is AI?addendumquestion wrote:Fyi, White/Ai with 160/3.87 -- hidden waiver at Duke, Michigan.

Re: Post December LSAT Fee Waivers?
I emailed UCLA this morning and asked for a waiver and received an email back asking for my GPA. Before I replied I received a waiver at a different email account. Hah.

So you think that they didn't send you one to your other account because you'd already asked for one?gobears09 wrote:I emailed UCLA this morning and asked for a waiver and received an email back asking for my GPA. Before I replied I received a waiver at a different email account. Hah.
Have others had the experience that if they ask for a waiver before the school sends out unsolicited waivers, they end up not receiving unsolicited?

I asked for one from UVA, got one, then got an unsolicited one the next day. I also asked for one from W&M, was told that they'd send me one when they got back into the office on Monday, but got one Saturday.evergirl23 wrote:So you think that they didn't send you one to your other account because you'd already asked for one?gobears09 wrote:I emailed UCLA this morning and asked for a waiver and received an email back asking for my GPA. I requested a merit-based waiver on my school email account after reading about all the people asking schools and getting them same day. I received the waiver for my LSAT score on the email account I use for LSAC. I think most of the merit-based ones come out automatically (*and unsolicited) for LSAT scores and I just happened to ask right before the UCLA waivers came out.

Mine also didn't work today after receiving the email.

Re: Post December LSAT Fee Waivers?
I only have an LSAT score (which I can't even look at.)
Since Dec. scores released, I've gotten unsolicited waivers from:
UVA
Duke (+ priority track)
Iowa
UCLA
Hopefully bodes well for my LSAT score when I actually see it.

Either is fine. There is, of course, politics behind either term, but AI is generally more accepted.

Re: Post December LSAT Fee Waivers?
I emailed W&M yesterday and asked; I received it this morning.
EDIT: Did anyone get the sketchy Richmond waiver? Applying then emailing then waiting for a check in the mail scares me. Not that I'm interested, but the idea is scary.

I got my solicited BU waiver today; I sent the email asking for it on 12/31.
I also received the unsolicited UCLA one last night and another one from University of Richmond this morning.

I read them even when I'm not interested in going there at all. I like to see what they have to say. : )Raskolnikoff wrote:Got Richmond. Did not read the email --> Archive.eandy wrote:I emailed W&M yesterday and asked; I received it this morning.

Re: Post December LSAT Fee Waivers?
Actually, Richmond's email seems to indicate that you don't pay when you submit electronically. Instead, you send them an email indicating that you have applied and that you received a fee waiver. They will treat that email as if it were your check for the fee.
