Curious to see UConn's #'s. Their website is not user friendly for this info.

Why did Bex lie to us and write a 158 in the spreadsheet then?LurkerShirker wrote:Illinois has not released GPA or class size.Dirigo wrote:Are people not looking at the google doc?LurkerShirker wrote:Illinois as well.Huskies13! wrote:so--top 50 (or so) schools we are missing:

Don't be fooled. Pace's medians are ACCEPTED, not ENROLLED students. That is, it counts those students who were offered admission but turned them down. (Richmond also pulled this trick on its website, but at least it also put the enrolled figures there in a less prominent place. For Pace, you will have to wait for the 509).Huskies13! wrote:Pace (http://law.pace.edu/sites/default/files ... kFacts.pdf)

pretty sure this question has been asked many times--maybe the first page should include the fact that Admissions Data is not final until Oct. __ and ABA 509 is not due until Dec. 15th. Or something like that?

He got it from me which I got from the faculty. Although we did have one girl drop out so now we're at 157 for class size
Illinois has to be very careful with releasing this info now. Everything has to be vetted by both the ABA and LSAC before they'll post it publicly.

If I understand correctly, schools will slowly start posting their updated 509s between now and Dec 15. I've been keeping a pretty close eye on things and the only one I've been able to track down so far is OleMiss. Pace has a rough draft posted online, but it's incomplete.Huskies13! wrote:pretty sure this question has been asked many times--maybe the first page should include the fact that Admissions Data is not final until Oct. __ and ABA 509 is not due until Dec. 15th. Unless I am misinterpreting Pace's 509 around 40% of their students are paying sticker ($45k/year plus COL).whitespider wrote:If I understand correctly, schools will slowly start posting their updated 509s between now and Dec 15. Hofstra & NYLS - 50% paying sticker. Albany - 60%.
Pretty sure most TTTs are this way. Why are you surprised?

I knew there were a lot of dumb people out there, but I had no idea the numbers were this bad. For some reason I assumed that maybe 10-20% were paying sticker at these terrible schools.eriedoctrine wrote:Hofstra & NYLS - 50% paying sticker. Albany - 60%.

most ttts use schollys as a marketing tool
nyls takes it to another level though, they've literally been running ads about their schollys in financial district bus stop shelters

Re: C/O 2017 Median LSAT/GPA/Class Size (New Stats!!!)
Previous comments are definitely something that lot of people on TLS miss. Even though we all see people talking about all of the scholarships that they got, at the end of the day, most people at most law schools, all up and down the ladder are paying sticker. Some schools just overcharge on tuition and then give everyone $5k to $10k annual schollies, but the underlying awfulness is the same. Not to mention, that many of the few 1Ls actually on schollies will lose them after 1L or transfer to a school and pay sticker.
The whole "just go wherever gives you the most money" argument on this forum is in no way a solution to the law school scam.
