Not granted yet, but Cardozo's policy for requesting (responded to my initial request):
Merit Based Fee waivers:
Applicants must submit a written request to obtain a waiver of the $75
application fee based on Merit. Please include your Resume, list your GPA
and list latest LSAT score and date. Once we receive your documents and
they are reviewed you will receive an email response.
Please include your first name, last name, LSAC#, and email address.
Please contact us with any further questions.
Thank you.

Anybody having luck soliciting waivers from Chicago (I've heard they don't, but you never know) or Columbia? I have fee waiver numbers but nothing after months... No harm in trying, of course, but I figured I'd ask before I solicit so I have the appropriate hopes going in.

Duke! Finally came today, I requested it two months ago.. 3.7, 169 . Hopefully, this bodes well for my October 9 retake
USC 3-4 days ago. The fun never stops.
The list so far from the top-20 ... all from CRS, no requests were honored unless Duke counts.
Columbia, Michigan, Virginia, Northwestern, Duke, Texas, UCLA, Vanderbilt, USC...
Hoping October 9 will get me love from Chicago, one of my two top choices, or Cornell, one of my preferred targets/safeties (depending on new LSAT).
Good luck to everyone in the app cycle! This board has been a lifesaver over the last 10 months... better than cable

No, no PT
but that's ok, Philly, 'cause as you know, I'm not quite ready to send stuff in yet. Soon, soon... Will be hitting submit hopefully once a day starting Monday. Northwestern's up first.

I thought about AJD too, but honestly, as much as I love the challenge of accelerated learning and no time off (and one less year of lost income), I relish the idea of three years. I'm an idealist, despite (or because of) having been in the education business for so long. Yes. Business. Let's not be naive...

I was wondering this too-- I am at a 174/3.87 and requested from both schools, but they said they don't do it through email but only through CRS. I guess I feel that I have fee waiver numbers, so any reason I wouldn't get the waiver??

I am going to pursue a PhD after I get done law school, while working. I have been working/schooling together for a few years and it's really enjoyable because I have something else to focus on after work, making work less stressful. Research after work seems like a decent hobby.mr_toad wrote:I thought about AJD too, but honestly, as much as I love the challenge of accelerated learning and no time off (and one less year of lost income), I relish the idea of three years. Re: Application Fee Waivers - Fall 2011 Applicants
Quick question:
I was curious how soon after the October Lsat scores come out will CRS fee waivers start to come in. I have my applications done for schools like Columbia, Penn, Georgetown, UVA, etc. and want to submit them as soon as my score is released. On the same note, I obviously would love to save the money if my score is good enought to warrant a fee waiver.
Thanks for the help!
