True. The reason GW doesn't get criticized as much as Fordham is because at least GW gives out decent scholarships, whereas Fordham literally only gives out a couple of full rides a year and is very stingy even to students who are at their 75th percentile for LSAT/GPA.

Also, I've heard stories on these boards of how at least some of those school funded jobs in DC actually end up being legit. Not sure if that is true or not though.

Boston schools took a big hit this year. Mostly due to being stingy with scholarships, I'm sure.

Confirmation of Texas' medians:

http://www.utexas.edu/law/admissions/jd/quickfacts.php

Same 25th/75th for LSAT and GPA for c/o 2017 as for c/o 2016.

Didn't NYU drop to 171? I'm lost now, because the chart says 172.

Yeah I mean, look at WUSTL. Same placement effectively, in a much worse location than BC/BU, but can hold a 166 because of $$$.

The 2018ers were joking earlier that Georgetown would be this year's WUSTL because of all the interest. Plus we have a few Hoya Scotti's in our group.
(Georgetown will never match WUSTL's generosity though)

In the case of BU, they probably tried to maintain or increase class size to justify the new law building. Plus the rise in rankings may have made them overconfident. But yeah, body blow for them. Hopefully they learn their lesson and stary being more generous with $$$.
