I e-mailed Emory and they are the only school I got absolutely no response from. But go ahead and try.hellojd wrote:Anyone know what the deal is with Emory?? Do we have to e-mail and request a waiver?
Sounds like I had better luck than you in getting "response" from Emory. I emailed them on 8/30 regarding merit-based fee waivers, and here's the email I got from them on 9/2 in its entirety:RTFM wrote:I e-mailed Emory and they are the only school I got absolutely no response from. Late fee waivers are irritating. It's like they want to pocket X amount of money, and then provide the fee waivers out (to people later in the admissions process who will be a little disadvantaged to those who shelled out $).vegenator wrote:Sounds like I had better luck than you in getting "response" from Emory. "We will contact applicants directly once fee waivers are determined."
I got a viewbook and letter via snail mail (of course). Postmark date was 9/18, I think I got it on the 21st or 22nd.hellojd wrote:Quick question too - UPenn is listed as sending waivers out on 9/20.
Did someone get an e-mail? Or was it snail mail? Looking back on previous years, it seems they didn't send them out until much later in cycle than others.

Has anyone else had luck with USC?Bildungsroman wrote:Hidden USC waiver!
Also, USC's app is one of my favorite so far.

I just checked and only received a message that my application fee would be charged at checkout. Sadness.

I wasn't going to, but curiosity got the best of me. Besides I applied to UCLA, so maybe I can just submit to USC as well since I'm already done with the application?kk19131 wrote:I'm also not going to bother creating a mock application just to check for a hidden USC waiver...
Now there's a charge.
