Nebraska and LSU by regular mail... although both request that I send an email to confirm the waivers.
... No thanks.

Anyone know what the deal is with Emory?? Do we have to e-mail and request a waiver?

I e-mailed Emory and they are the only school I got absolutely no response from. But go ahead and try.hellojd wrote:Anyone know what the deal is with Emory?? Do we have to e-mail and request a waiver?

Sounds like I had better luck than you in getting "response" from Emory. I emailed them on 8/30 regarding merit-based fee waivers, and here's the email I got from them on 9/2 in its entirety:RTFM wrote:I e-mailed Emory and they are the only school I got absolutely no response from. Late fee waivers are irritating. It's like they want to pocket X amount of money, and then provide the fee waivers out (to people later in the admissions process who will be a little disadvantaged to those who shelled out $).vegenator wrote:Sounds like I had better luck than you in getting "response" from Emory. Sorry for the skepticism lol, but I went to Emory undergrad and they're money hungry haha (LOVE the university otherwise though).

Quick question too - UPenn is listed as sending waivers out on 9/20.
Did someone get an e-mail? Or was it snail mail? Looking back on previous years, it seems they didn't send them out until much later in cycle than others.

I got a viewbook and letter via snail mail (of course). Postmark date was 9/18, I think I got it on the 21st or 22nd.hellojd wrote:Quick question too - UPenn is listed as sending waivers out on 9/20.

Has anyone else had luck with USC?Bildungsroman wrote:Hidden USC waiver!

I just checked and only received a message that my application fee would be charged at checkout. Sadness.

I just reapplied for LSAC waiver. Conditionally approved. Once it's final I should be good for waivers from nearly all schools going into next year's cycle!
Yale and whoever else doesn't give you one when LSAC gives you one said on their site you can get it by writing/email them directly.

I'm also not going to bother creating a mock application just to check for a hidden USC waiver...

I wasn't going to, but curiosity got the best of me. Besides I applied to UCLA, so maybe I can just submit to USC as well since I'm already done with the application?kk19131 wrote:I'm also not going to bother creating a mock application just to check for a hidden USC waiver...
I think this is a plot for LSAC to make more money (off the report fees).
