How are schools like Stanford and Columbia increasing their LSAT medians with then number of takers declining? Are these going to be the new benchmarks for them, or is this year somehow atypical?
SLS just finally focused on the LSAT. If they want to stay at 172, they can, and easily. The only need 90 172+s.

Columbia will have to fight to hold the 172 but I would expect them to for at least this year.
Damn. Sorry, I won't hijack this thread any further after this question. But this essentially devalues my 171, correct? I hadn't planned on retaking, but that was because I thought the app declines and falling medians would make me competitive at places like Stanford and Columbia (gpa above 75th). Should I rethink that choice?

If you're GPA is above 75 percentile for both, you will remain competitive with a 171. Especially at Columbia. Plus, Spivey reported that LSAT takers in September were down and is predicting a decline in apps this cycle, so Columbia might struggle to maintain a 172 median.

Obviously, if you feel like you can improve a couple points you could retake for more scholarship money.

Every day BU doesn't announce their medians I get more and more hopeful they tanked like BC. Friend is gunning for a big scholarship there, a 2 point drop would make him incredibly competitive.

I'm tempted to call the admissions office and just ask.

Wtf is Belmont Law. No data on LST.

Their tagline is "From here to anywhere" on the website, haha. From here to crippling debt? How do they manage to have people in the mid to upper 150s.

At least the girls in that pic are kind of hot.

Belmont has pretty respected (undergrad) business school in the Northeast. I don't understand why they would go ahead and make a law school.
According to the website, the earliest they can apply for full accreditation is 2015, so must be very new.

I think you're confusing Belmont with Bentley, Babson, or Bryant, or the horse track on Long Island. Belmont the law school is in Tennessee.

To pass the time, you could always start another thread about how the only downside to the holocaust was that we all have to "hear the jews complain"

Cardozo's medians have fallen quite a bit. It was only a couple years ago that it had a 163/3.6. Those numbers could probably get you into a top 25 school now.

Those numbers get you to WashU and Notre Dame nowadays (albeit with little money). Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
