Lucky, my LSAT isn't as good as yours bee. Unless they're open on weekends, probably won't get an email until Monday at the earliestbee wrote:solicit gulc if you havent yet. they gave me a waiver within like 6 hours.Fianna13 wrote:Still no waiver from Penn or GULC. wtf?

Ugh, I have three more T14s to solicit and I REALLY not want to pay ~100 for an application...
Hopefully they will come around on the CRS train on Monday!

how do they secretly give you a waiver? is it something that is greyed out when you go to submit your app?SonlenNightfall wrote:3.5, 173. I sent out merit fee waiver requests to Columbia, Penn, Georgetown, GW, and University of Houston a few days ago.JustHawkin wrote:Has anyone solicited GW and Georgetown successfully?
Columbia politely told me no.
Georgetown quickly gave me a fee waiver.
Penn basically told me "not at that time", but when I went to apply they had secretly given me a waiver.
GW never replied.
UH gave me a fee waiver.
Just a little sample size for you to work with. Good luck!

You don't see it until you get to the final confirmation or submission step (after all application portions are complete). It still might show a price in the first box, while some showed $0 for me.
My suggestion is to call any school directly that you're genuinely interested in putting an application in with. I'm applied to ten schools and have paid no more than the CAS fees.

If I am not mistaken, I believe both stick to the CRS fee waivers.Seoulless wrote:Has anyone successfully solicited:

Not sure about Columbia but Northwestern offered fee waivers for anyone who signed up earlier in the cycle. Probably too late now to sign up but shooting them an e-mail is worth the time.JustHawkin wrote:If I am not mistaken, I believe both stick to the CRS fee waivers.Seoulless wrote:Has anyone successfully solicited:

I solicited GULC the other day. They told me needbased or merit (GPA/LSAT)
Im taking Feb LSAT; my first attempt. Thought it was worth a shot. Got like 6 others without a LSAT score.

the fee waiver only shows up when you go to pay right? On the front page of all my applications, it's showing the fee.

Anyone know how low NYU would go to give fee waivers? Already sent an email, but was wondering.

Hey boss, saw you post in the December thread you got a 169 and was just curious what your GPA was?
We might be numbers twins, thats the only reason I'm wondering.
It will be interesting to see how 169s fair in the T14 this year.
