Just received unsolicited Duke and Vandy.
My numbers are 164/3.96 so I'm pretty confused. Unsure if it's worth it to apply.

Hidden or email? Duke told me to wait it out when I solicited because they were going to be sending a couple more waves of fee waivers and I should be getting one with my numbers (their words).abaker92 wrote:Just received unsolicited Duke and Vandy.

It was email. I haven't decided if I should apply yet. I feel like they might be needing people to reject...haha. Not sure.melodygreenleaf wrote: Hidden or email? Got Vandy today through CRS after being denied solicited last week. Lucky-- I had the app ready to submit yesterday, but I waited for some of my other apps and it saved me the hassle of the refund request.

Got Vanderbilt unsolicited today after being told to wait for a CRS waiver when I tried to solicit 2 weeks ago. Now I'll apply and throw my hat in the ring

How long do you folks intend on waiting for waivers before you decide to go on ahead without them? I'm still waiting for UChi, Cornell and Duke but want to submit my apps too late D:

BC solicited. I solicited right after Oct scores came out and they said they'd have to get back to me.

I got into Vandy and waitlisted at Duke this year (both also granted me fee waivers) with a 163/3.8x. You probably have a better shot than you think.Pishee77 wrote:My friend got into UVA last year with a 164/3.87.abaker92 wrote:Just received unsolicited Duke and Vandy.

Also, Kansas has been bombarding me with emails and fee waivers recently.

They are receptive to requests. They were always very friendly when I communicated with them.bee wrote:i know northwestern was handing out fee waiver codes, but those were contingent on applying by dec 5. for those of us who took the dec lsat and havent submitted our apps yet, does anyone know whether nu takes waiver requests?

3.5, 173. I sent out merit fee waiver requests to Columbia, Penn, Georgetown, GW, and University of Houston a few days ago.JustHawkin wrote:Has anyone solicited GW and Georgetown successfully?
Columbia politely told me no.
Georgetown quickly gave me a fee waiver.
Penn basically told me "not at that time", but when I went to apply they had secretly given me a waiver.
GW never replied.
UH gave me a fee waiver.
Just a little sample size for you to work with. Good luck!
