K, well in attempting to prove my point, sorry if I overreacted. And there's this: http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/horrible ... he-grammys We can blame these girls for being complete idiots (who do not understand domestic violence), but in my opinion it comes down to a fundamental inequality that's very much reflected in the posts in this thread.A → B ⊨ ¬B → ¬A wrote:These aren't things that can be proved.cbarlow1016 wrote:Evidently, I have failed in proving the point I was attempting to make. Hi. You guys have made some great inferences, albeit wrong.A → B ⊨ ¬B → ¬A wrote:Good point. I guess I assumed that while stalking through her fb photos. 1. I'm female
2. I don't have a facebook, but I am logged into my friend's facebook (which is why I could not comment on the post OP mentioned; that would just be rude of me to make comments on fb through my friend's profile). So yes, I made the comment in regards to her appearance. I was like hey, you linked your facebook, you're cute. I didn't mean to offend you lol
3. I play for both sides

See, that's the thing, I'm not sure OP realizes a lot of those people were just messing with her. She might think they were genuinely being sexist.vman21 wrote: Despite some people's desire to kind of purposely provoke you (mostly for lulz...I think they just wanted to get a rise out of you)

Idk, I think Hannah McKay was still worse. Maybe not worse on her own but the whining weenis she turned Dexter into ruined the season. Maybe it was the actress. She ruined every scene she was in the way January Jones ruins every scene of Mad Men she's in.
Except after she got fat. I <3 fat Betsy.

tl:dr
Is OP one of those downtrodden women who sees sexism and fault in anything ever touched by man?

For dingy's benefit, here's an excellent tl;dr of this thread:
SemperLegal wrote:I think I can mediate from the center. After all, I am half women, on my mothers side.
A few novel things occurred today:
An Berkeley Undergrad is offended by the white, patriarchal machine
Anonymous internet posters are crass to a woman.
A complaint about offensive memes about violence towards women is plastered with offensive memes about violence/
Random, low post count posters defend her.
No ones mind is changed.

I do, though the first episode of this season was objectively terrible.

^ In order to like Suits you have to understand it for what it is, a realistic portrayal of biglaw life in NYC. And hot law babes.

If by realistic you mean completely out of touch with reality, then I would agree.JamesDean1955 wrote:^ In order to like Suits you have to understand it for what it is, a realistic portrayal of biglaw life in NYC. And hot law babes.

Yeah, that's why I am not a huge fan. I prefer dramas to be somewhat realistic.InGoodFaith wrote:If by realistic you mean completely out of touch with reality, then I would agree.JamesDean1955 wrote:^ In order to like Suits you have to understand it for what it is, a realistic portrayal of biglaw life in NYC.
