I got the Duke waiver today too. My numbers are really bad (3.61/158) but I am a URM. Maybe this is a good sign with a decent retake in October?
I honestly didn't expect any T14 waivers with my current score so even if this is just designed to bolster the # of applications and make Duke appear more selective I'm very happy to at least get to apply for free after my retake.

Hey OP - I was just reading Stanford's site, and they say that apps become available on Sept 1st and are accepted after Sept 15th. Your chart says "Apps accepted 8/31" under SLS' row. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.

I'm sure you have a life outside of updating the spreadsheet, but LSAC isn't allowing the Duke app until 9/01 (as opposed to now).shadowofjazz wrote:Duke University School of Law application is now open.

It's open, but it can't be submitted until September 1st. I just tried to submit my completed app and got a message verifying this.shadowofjazz wrote:Uhhh it's definitely open because I filled it out this morning.helix23 wrote:I'm sure you have a life outside of updating the spreadsheet, but LSAC isn't allowing the Duke app until 9/01 (as opposed to now).shadowofjazz wrote:Duke University School of Law application is now open.

Got my Michigan package today. Dean Z is a classy lady, definitely just cemented the fact that I'll apply. Nice little handwritten note mentioning my school by name and congratulating me on my academic record

Yep, I know she does it for pretty much everyone...but still. I'm a special snowflake. It made me feel good.bernaldiaz wrote:Got my Michigan package today. Updated. I'm guessing they changed something and had to re-upload it (delaying the release).helix23 wrote:LSAC is telling me that UCLA app isn't available until 9/7 now

How long did it take people who solicited a fee waiver from Georgetown to get a response?

What's the protocol for soliciting a merit-based fee waiver? I'd like to take a shot with both Georgetown and UVA since I live in northern Virginia. Thanks for any help at all.

To whom it may concern-
My name is Berna lDiaz. I am applying to law school this year and am interested in X Law school. After reviewing the fee waiver policy on your website, I was unsure if X school granted merit fee waivers, and if so, if I would qualify for one. My LSAC GPA is X.XX and my LSAT is XXX. My LSAC account number is LXXXXXXXXX.
Thank you for your consideration,
Bernal Diaz
