I got the Duke waiver today too. My numbers are really bad (3.61/158) but I am a URM. Maybe this is a good sign with a decent retake in October?

I honestly didn't expect any T14 waivers with my current score so even if this is just designed to bolster the # of applications and make Duke appear more selective I'm very happy to at least get to apply for free after my retake.

Hey OP - I was just reading Stanford's site, and they say that apps become available on Sept 1st and are accepted after Sept 15th. Your chart says "Apps accepted 8/31" under SLS' row. Just thought I'd give you a heads up. :)

Just got Michigan fee waiver (snail mail) though it's already on the list...

I'm sure you have a life outside of updating the spreadsheet, but LSAC isn't allowing the Duke app until 9/01 (as opposed to now).

It's open, but it can't be submitted until September 1st. I just tried to submit my completed app and got a message verifying this.

My bad, for some reason when I was reading the spreadsheet earlier I thought I read NOW under Application Accepted.

Got my Michigan package today. Dean Z is a classy lady, definitely just cemented the fact that I'll apply. Nice little handwritten note mentioning my school by name and congratulating me on my academic record

Updated. I'm guessing they changed something and had to re-upload it (delaying the release).

How long did it take people who solicited a fee waiver from Georgetown to get a response?

Sent my request on July 18, got a response on July 23. Others have gotten theirs quicker.

I'm sure I could search this, but since there's so much experience sitting RIGHT HERE with it...

What's the protocol for soliciting a merit-based fee waiver? I'd like to take a shot with both Georgetown and UVA since I live in northern Virginia. Thanks for any help at all.

Yeah haha no problem. I just said like

To whom it may concern-

My name is Berna lDiaz. I am applying to law school this year and am interested in X Law school. After reviewing the fee waiver policy on your website, I was unsure if X school granted merit fee waivers, and if so, if I would qualify for one. My LSAC GPA is X.XX and my LSAT is XXX. My LSAC account number is LXXXXXXXXX.

Thank you for your consideration,

Bernal Diaz
