GPA (25th/50th/75th): 3.45/3.61/3.7

Edit: because I obviously can't type things correctly.

I'm reading into it that my 171 LSAT and no GPA (foreign undergrad) means I am now below median at NYU and will probably get dinged, whereas I would have had a shot if I was at or above median.

Didn't want to read all the pages...I thought I remembered from Penn orientation being told that our median was 171. I'm only about 60% sure on it, but do any other Penn 1Ls remember one way or the other?

The website says your 75th percentile is 171. I'd be pretty surprised if your 50th and 75th were the same.

How is 167 both the 25th and 75th percentile?

Penn 25th/75th
2010:
3.56 / 3.90
166 / 171
6,022 apps (2.9% decrease)

2009:
3.57 / 3.90
166 / 171
6,205 apps

Though statistically possible, a 171 median is very unlikely, given their 3% decrease in applications and nearly unchanged 25/75 numbers. Also, LSN shows plenty of below-median / 170 admits.

This is a typo. If you check the website the 25th is actually a 163.

As an aside, I'm always excited when I see that there is a new post on this thread because I think it means that another school has released its medians. Unfortunately this is rarely the case.

We're only waiting on Yale, Stanford, Chicago, and Cornell in the T14. Chicago promises an update sometime in September, and Yale will probably update soon, but Stanford and Cornell don't seem to update their web site very often.

Suffolk

2010
GPA Median - 3.3; LSAT Median - 157
LSAT 25/75 - 155/159

she doesn't say the GPA 25/75, but I assume they are very close to last years 3.3/3.6

2009
GPA Median - 3.3; LSAT Median - 157
GPA 25/75 - 3.3/3.6; LSAT 25/75 - 154/159

Fordham, i think these are the new stats:

"For the latest entering class, the median LSAT and GPA for the full-time day division was a 166 and a 3.62. The median LSAT and GPA for the part-time evening division was a 164 and a 3.52."

i wonder how this will translate into when US News combines the two.

By bad news I hope you mean a stagnant median.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
