Donated $10 through 20222, Clinton Foundation.
Had to text twice, if you are doing it from Canada it's only a $5 donation each time you text.

5,000 FF miles
Trying to give $50 to the Red Cross, but my card is declined. Seeing as I used it an hr before for a coffee, I don't think it's me. Anyone else having problems?

Re: Haiti Quake Please Help!
well, I gave $10. Heard Bill Clinton on tv asking people to give $5 or $10, so I did.
***You can do it thru iTunes store also.***
So sad for those helpless people. We are very lucky here in the U.S.
Nice to see people on here helping out. Very cool.

Avoid Yele...not because it definitely is crooked, but because it might be, there are other charitable options, and this is no time to fuck around.

I saw a notice on the Red Cross website saying they're having problems due to being absolutely swamped with donation requests, and it's taking up to 12 hours for people's donations to process and go through. They're just swamped (which is a good thing, in a way); perhaps look for an alternative way to donate that isn't broken right now, or wait a day or two and try again.Bikeflip wrote:5,000 FF miles

Also, for people wanting to donate just $5, you can text the word "GIVE" to "24357" and that will donate $5 automatically to the Red Cross, charged to your next wireless phone bill. (Confirmation that this is real is on the Red Cross website at http://american.redcross.org/site/PageS ... _text2help; they call it their "Text2Help" program, and the text number 24357 is "2HELP" on your phone.)
If you can spare $5 and spend 15 seconds sending a text message, then you can help too. You can donate up to $25 (that's 5 text messages) to the Red Cross this way. Every dollar helps!

Donated $20 to International Medical Corps. I picked them from CNN.com/impact. They need medical supplies ASAP. People are getting amputations and other surgeries with out anesthesia!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
