Bah, didn't receive Cornell or UVA. Above both 75th percentiles. Really wonder how this stuff works o.o

I'm convinced that the 11 T14s that give fee waivers collude so that each person is screwed over by 1 or 2 schools. And UVA just give everyone a fee waiver.

well i've already applied to chi, nyu, and columbia with no fee waiver :/.

cornell and northwestern will be at the lawl school fair tomorrow. i'll ask for one there, they're the only ones left (out of the ones granting waivers).

I feel like my UG is the last to have a law fair. I even looked up when the one is for the one school north of us (still in the contiguous US) and their's was today.

Yeah, got that Harvard email. My numbers aren't close to Harvard so I automatically assumed it was just some basic info. I feel for anyone seriously considering HLS who thought it was anything else.

I haven't checked for hidden waivers yet though since my apps aren't even close to being finished.

I think if you request a viewbook from USC they may send you one. I say this because I requested a USC viewbook way back before studying for the LSAT, when I was at a different address, and it never came. So in order to request another one I had to use a different email since they already had my previously entered email on file. When I finally received my USC waiver it was sent to that secondary email address and not the one I have linked to LSAC.

However, USC's waiver came a week or two after the Oct. score release so it would seem like a normal CRS generated waiver. But, as I said it was sent to an email address that they wouldn't have by using LSAC so I am still sort of confused.

Just out of curiosity, are there any T14 schools you would not apply to without a fee waiver?

northwestern and gtown. just not very interested. i'd also forgo any schools outside the t14 like usc/ucla/vandy/ut.

^same, but I don't intend on applying on schools outside t14 even with fee waiver. I don't really know why 14 is the cutoff except that TLS told me so
