Woooooo! Just checked today, and I had a hidden Michigan waiver!

God I love you so much, Michigan, although I wish I had rated a letter.

Also, I might as well get off my lazy ass and send a request to WUSTL.

Perhaps this has already been answered somewhere, but I'm curious, so I'll ask it again.

Aside from HYS, are there any other t14 schools which don't give our merit-based fee waivers? I'm taking the LSAT in October, and would like to know which applications I should wait on and which ones I should just go ahead and submit.

On Berkeley's website it says that they do not give out merit-based fee waivers. Here's what they say about fee waivers in general (posted on their FAQ page, http://www.law.berkeley.edu/47.htm )

Does Berkeley Law grant fee waivers? We will waive your Berkeley Law application fee if you were approved for an LSAC fee waiver. If you apply electronically, your application fee will be waived automatically. If you submit a paper application, simply include a copy of your LSAC fee waiver approval letter with your application. We do not provide merit-based fee waivers.

A limited number of application fee waivers are available to applicants who are current participants in public service programs (Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, etc.). For more information and to apply, visit http://www.law.berkeley.edu/39.htm. Please submit the Fee Waiver Request Form along with proof of participation to the Admissions Office. Be sure to read the instructions carefully. The deadline to submit an application with a fee waiver request is Monday, January 17, 2011.

But for me, UC Berkeley is a school worth paying $75 bucks for.

Got Northwestern Hidden and UCLA 3.49/173. Wasn't gonna apply to northwestern without one since I am straight out of UG. So that was a nice surprise.

I did! non-URM, 169. So maybe I am to be an inspiration to others? It was very exciting on my end.

I emailed U Texas back in late August about fee waivers, and they told me no, we only give need based fee waivers, bla bla bla, but then qualified it with the following:
"UT Law offers a limited number of merit-based fee waivers. If you are eligible, as an applicant you will receive an email from us before November 1, which is our deadline for fee waivers."

So, I'm wondering if 169 is the cut-off for this round of fee waivers, since 168 is their 75th? But, they say that Nov. 1st is their deadline, so maybe there's hope left that they'll extend some love to the 168ers?

I'm a 170, 3.6 identical numbers twin to you and I did not get a waiver either. What's up UT?
