Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
I got a BC fee waiver on Oct 7. I asked them for one.
"This is a reply to your recent email regarding your request for an application fee waiver. You do not need to provide any further documentation as we have granted your request. Your fee waiver will be applied automatically when you submit your application through LSAC and no action is required.
We look forward to receiving your application."
I sent mine asking for one for military service

Do you remember how long it took for them to respond to you? I asked but haven't heard back.EMZE wrote:I got a BC fee waiver on Oct 7. I asked them for one.

UChicago is the only fee waiver of CCN on down I have yet to receive. Said they periodically review information from LSAC and send out waivers. Anyone know if they are likely to send out waivers in the next week to Oct LSAT takers or if I should just suck it up and pay the 100 bucks for Chicago?Mal Reynolds wrote:Just got Penn and Chicago unsolicited. I know they want you to apply sometimes just to get rejected but Ill let myself still feel really good about chicago for a second anyway.

Did you check for a hidden waiver? My waiver was on LSAC almost 2 days before I received any sort of notification email.MattLiv12 wrote:UChicago is the only fee waiver of CCN on down I have yet to receive. I'm sure BU's next wave will be coming out soon, but they're also really good about granting solicited ones. They e-mailed me back on the same day I sent my request and provided me with a fee-waiver.

i believe this is only true for chicago, but still, submit nowpaul34 wrote:Submit now, if you're ready. Don't wait. BU is strange with waivers. They initially told me they didn't give them, then a month later they granted my request.AmoryB wrote:I'm sure BU's next wave will be coming out soon, but they're also really good about granting solicited ones. In no particular order of arrival, waivers @: UCLA, GULC, Duke (PT), UVA, Northwestern, UMinn, Will+Mary
Kind of sad that I've had no hiddens... makes me feel like I'm being deprived of a surprise present that everyone else got... haha.
Would love an NYU / Columbia waiver right about now.
