BC's decline just breaks my heart.
Admissions really needs to start handing out full schollies like candy to anyone with a 167+.

Re: C/O 2017 Median LSAT/GPA/Class Size (New Stats!!!)
you should expect to make $60k out of fordham, since biglaw is not a median outcomeShipitHolla wrote:I never claimed that everyone gets full-tuition scholarships. A school can be rational for one person to attend and irrational for another. Obv there is non-tuition debt, but i'm hoping a prospective student would calculate this before they attend. Borrowing roughly what you expect to make your first year out of school is a decent guide.Louis1127 wrote:You do realize that if everyone got a full-tuition scholarship, the school wouldn't exist, right?ShipitHolla wrote:Why all the hate on Fordham and UIUC? Both are extremely reasonable schools with full/near-full scholly. Each gives you a decent shot at big law (~30%) and a job as an attorney with almost no debt if you only finish median.
Also you seem to be neglecting debt from sources other than tuition (there are quite a few).
Also you seem to be eerily similar to the fordham troll from before.
so following your model, one should only borrow up to $60k
which is less than col
meaning that students would need a full-ride
fordham doesn't give out full rides
ergo no one should go to fordham

Wow. If I applied to the T14 in 2014 instead of 2011, I may have had a chance to get in with $!LePeanut wrote:Northwestern

Re: C/O 2017 Median LSAT/GPA/Class Size (New Stats!!!)
thing is, this is actually an improvement over their 25/75 numbers last year. I'm interested in this trend; the top 13 schools matriculated a higher achieving class, on average, than last year, while the remaining schools took huge losses. Yet tuition at the top schools also increases by leaps and bounds. Is the general applicant pool wising up to the decrepit social menace that constitutes the TTT law school? or are applications trending back towards only wealthy students whose parents can fund the exploit while lower income students are squeezed out? or is it something else altogether?BlueLotus wrote:Wow. either way, I do feel a little bad about telling all my friends it would be easier and easier to get into a top program and so they should take time off and work before starting because while I still trust that advise it hasn't proven entirely true...

I had "iffy" #s for BC when I applied (3.82/164). Now I would get a shitton of $$ from them. I am kicking myself for not taking more time off after undergrad!

2010: c/o 2013 166 / 477 matrics (subsequent USNWR released 2011: 30th)
2011: c/o 2014 165 / 479 matrics (subsequent USNWR released 2012: 29th)
2012: c/o 2015 164 / 433 matrics (subsequent USNWR released 2013: 38th)
2013: c/o 2016 163 / 398 matrics (subsequent USNWR released 2014: 36th)
2014: c/o 2017 163
fordham is 3 points down from 2010 despite shrinking class sizes dramatically
it's no wonder fordham has the reputation it does as a trap school in decline

You're assuming Fordham has an 163 this year, which may not be the case. Their PT of 161 may bring them down to an 162 overall.Brut wrote:2010: c/o 2013 166 / 477 matrics (subsequent USNWR released 2011: 30th)

i'm being far too generous to fordham
it would surprise no one if fordham continued its steady descent into toilethood
btw, i'm looking up acceptance rates right now, will update as i have more
but this is interesting
c/o 2015 acceptance rate: 32%
c/o 2016 acceptance rate: 38% (lol)
c/o 2017 acceptance rate: ??

Pretty odd that you wouldn't report it ITT on Friday rather than waiting to cause problems on Saturday resulting in you getting banned.illmaticjones wrote:I called on Friday. Believe it or not.
