Just got UCLA by email.
Edit: 3.12/172. The email stated that the waiver was LSAT based.

172, no Columbia
This wouldn't be nearly as frustrating if I could just know why..
(Took the LSAT this summer, for the record, and transcripts are in)

I really think this is more random than we think.
I got Columbia today. 170 LSAT; one time; June 2010. ~3.4 GPA.
I appreciate it of course, but if I wanted rejection free of charge I would go hit on my sister's friends.

Hidden Texas, UCLA by email (yaay, two of my top choices!) but no Columbia. 170 LSAT, 3.7x GPA so probably just in for a rejection anyway haha.

Re: Application Fee Waivers - Fall 2011 Applicants
Did anyone who received a UCLA fee waiver take the LSAT more than once?
I have yet to hear from UCLA with a 175 (164). LSDAS GPA ~ 3.75
Thanks.

Re: Application Fee Waivers - Fall 2011 Applicants
Any ideas on why Columbia's fee waiver email said that the waiver was only for people who hadn't submitted their apps yet? It makes me nervous that I'm retaking in October and won't be submitting for a while...

They way I read it, they are simply saying that they will not refund an application fee for someone who already submitted.cyxdev17 wrote:Any ideas on why Columbia's fee waiver email said that the waiver was only for people who hadn't submitted their apps yet? I wonder whats the search criteria for Columbia since not everyone within the same LSAT range is getting it.

First they take the square root of your LSAT, multiply by the absolute value of your time zone in relation to Greenwich mean, then divide by:r6_philly wrote:I wonder whats the search criteria for Columbia since not everyone within the same LSAT range is getting it.

UCLA's email stated that the waiver was based on LSAT only. Columbia's also, in case people were wondering.trudat15 wrote:Me neither - 174 (164). But my GPA is lower.Long Live Jacox wrote:Did anyone who received a UCLA fee waiver take the LSAT more than once?
