As a 168 --> 173 Sept. retaker, and based on my unscientific observations of the previous Penn fee waiver round that sadly excluded me, it seems like 170 is their cutoff.

They sure are fast -- now if I only I was as fast writing their supplemental essays...
I want to write all the extra essays the law schools offer/request, but I love my PS so much that I'm worried anything else I will write will be inferior. Bah.

I'm a June LSAT-taker and I just saw Columbia hidden waiver. Never got an email or anything.

Sounds like this is gonna be an awful cycle for me. I didn't even get a Michigan or UVA fee waiver. :(

Villanova
Richmond
Maine
and most importanly: Vermont

what do you say in these emails, I am applying to half of these schools... like: "I am applying to your law school, these are my stats... may I have a fee waiver?"

Penn and UVA hidden waivers just showed up for me, after not being there at least as of last week. Not sure why I got them so late after other folks, I was a June LSAT-taker. Oh well though, I'm glad to have them!

This thread is very depressing. Nothing from UVA, Columbia, Michigan. Wow.

Anyone else not get anything with competitive numbers? I hope something is still coming.

Email UVA and ask, pretty sure they almost always say yes.

To be honest, I don't even want to go to UVA.. but it's the principle. I really have a bad feeling about my cycle. Really bad. Ugh.

I'm running into the same problem. Sept. 173 LSAT and a 3.6+ GPA ... no fee waivers emailed my way.

I did take the Dec 08. test and scored a 164, but I don't know why that would so adversely hurt my fee waiver chances this time around.

And yes, I did just join TLS due to this silly (but perplexing) matter.
I went from 164 -> 172, as well. Interesting.

I haven't received an unrequested fee waiver from a T25 yet, not even hidden. I know I have a TTT GPA, but with a 172 and URM status I thought I would at least get a few. Especially considering how many people reported getting some today.

Not that I'm aware of. I have a "hidden" waiver from Michigan, and never got an email.

this is probably dumb, but when i go to the lsac site and click on a geographical location for particular schools, i have some that show up as 0$. specifically schools that i know have application fees.... is that the hidden thing? im thinking its not, it doesnt seem to be relevant to how i scored. and for my undergrad the spot is just blank

Ok, now this is a bit weird. So I applied to a bunch of schools on Saturday before any CRS-based waivers became available for me, and I paid all the fees. But now I'm on the Duke status checker and it says at the bottom that my amount due is 0 and my amount paid is 0, which seems to imply that the fee is waived for me, yet I know I charged it to my credit card all of 2 days ago. Guess I'd better call up Duke tomorrow to find out how I get the money back if the fee is waived?

You will not get your money back. Any school's website will tell you not to apply if you want to use a fee waiver.

I didn't have the fee waiver at the time I applied. But they have it listed on my status that I payed nothing, and owe nothing, when I in fact payed the full fee.
