Let me give you guys some schools, that based on my experience, I think would be worth e-mailing and requesting a fee waiver:
UVA
Boston U.
WUSTL
Minnesota
Notre Dame
Indiana
Georgia
Wake Forest
Colorado
SMU
Villanova
Richmond
Maine
and most importanly: Vermont
Money back guarantee that at least 2/3 will be successful.

Isn't Michigan known to be extremely generous with their FW's as well?Dwaterman86 wrote:Let me give you guys some schools, that based on my experience, I think would be worth e-mailing and requesting a fee waiver:

Re: 2009-2010 Fee Waiver Tracker Thread
I'd like to know this, I want to apply to Mich and haven't gotten a fee waiver and I'm not sure when the right time to solicit and ask for one is. I know its only been a day, but since I'm so borderline T14/T10 I'd like to get apps out as soon as possibleHelmholtz wrote:Isn't Michigan known to be extremely generous with their FW's as well?Dwaterman86 wrote:Let me give you guys some schools, that based on my experience, I think would be worth e-mailing and requesting a fee waiver:

UVA and Cinci today. Excited about UVA. No Duke yet though! Wtf! I also want one from Michigan...
FYI, I got a 175, but haven't gotten all my transcripts in so no LSAC'd GPA. Are Duke and Michigan only doing people with official GPAs up?

Re: 2009-2010 Fee Waiver Tracker Thread
You can change the year you plan to attend on CRS to last year - then you won't get anything this year, or just leave it as this year, and then when they have a spot for 10-11, just change your CRS intended enrollment year and you will pop up in searches next year. If you switch sometime before the June LSAT you should get the waivers with people who take that test.acadia222 wrote:Took Sept. test and just got a fee waiver for 09-10 cycle. Trouble is--I'm not planning to apply until 10-11 cycle (and this is indicated on CRS preferences). This school (and it looks like many) only gives one waiver. Anything I can do to have more waivers held off? Change preferences to 'not sure if/when I'm applying" on CRS? Apply anyway and defer ? (Not really ready to do this one..) Sorry, sort of OT.

Is there any place on TLS where there is an index of the email address law schools would prefer you to direct your fee waiver requests? Or should I just go to their specific websites and email the contact information address?

So there's still hope. I wasn't going to apply to Duke but still not having a fee waiver is depressing.j nyc wrote:my gpa's a 3.77 lsac'd (went downnnn boo)examplepdf wrote:FYI, I got a 175, but haven't gotten all my transcripts in so no LSAC'd GPA. and i got a 175 too -- and no fee waiver / PT at duke
but this seems to be the trend for 175+
got uva, ucla today.
& congrats knola!!
EDIT: i lied, literally just received duke waiver ONE minute ago.

I got UVA earlier today and UCLA and Duke (no PT) just now. Like everyone else here, but I thought I'd pipe in anyway.

Got UVA/Baylor/Cincinnati today, but I really want a UCLA/USC one! Ugh. Can the UCLA people post their stats? I'm a 171/3.6/URM(do they take URM into account with merit based waivers?)

I got UVa, Duke PT, and UCLA today. This is not news at this point, but I'm excited because my June score never got me waivers.
170/3.85
Congrats everybody!

South Carolina/Cincinnati/Duke/Baylor today so far. Eclectic collection, if nothing else. Always nice to know that I'm wanted somewhere, though.
And, not gonna lie, wasn't going to apply to Duke before. Definitely will now.
EDIT: Found my "hidden" fee waivers - UCLA, UVA, UMich, and UPenn. No go on Gtown, though. Ah well. Today is EXCELLENT!
