Northeastern went to my spam as well, which is pretty surprising because gmail is usually pretty good about filtering in my experience.gelato wrote:Northeastern went to my spamRoaringMice wrote:St. John's and Northeastern.(gmail)... will be watching what "spam" I delete more closely for the next few weeks...
Received waivers from Northeastern, Vanderbilt, Case Western Reserve, St Louis in the past 2-3 days.

Anybody entertaining schools they likely wouldn't have prior to receiving a fee waiver? It's still $25 regardless, so I don't think it inclines me much unless it's a t14 waiver.

I'm right with you. The only fee waiver that has convinced me to apply when I wasn't going to is Duke. Even though the chances of me going to Duke are super low since I would rather attend some of it's peer schools in better locations I still figure why not. $25 for a potential bargaining chip of scholarship money can't hurt. But outside of the T14 I don't think any waiver will get me to spend $25 (exception of UCLA/USC since I live in Southern California).Otunga wrote:Anybody entertaining schools they likely wouldn't have prior to receiving a fee waiver? Duke because it will be nice to get in within 10 days, and I can use the confidence booster. UCLA and USC because it will be nice to laugh to myself as I reject their acceptances. muahahahaOtunga wrote:Anybody entertaining schools they likely wouldn't have prior to receiving a fee waiver? I mark all TTT as spam as a courtesy for future generations, personally.avth wrote:Northeastern went to my spam as well, which is pretty surprising because gmail is usually pretty good about filtering in my experience.gelato wrote:Northeastern went to my spamRoaringMice wrote:St. John's and Northeastern.(gmail)... will be watching what "spam" I delete more closely for the next few weeks...

To the poster asking above the quoted post, Chicago and Penn have come out to me.

Yeah that is real weird because my LSAT is above their 75th though not as good as yours and my GPA is a 3.63 and I still got Columbia. Must've been random. I feel like I have read a lot of people getting hidden Columbia waivers so you may have that to look for.Instinctive wrote:3.98 GPAdrevo wrote:This is confusing because as noted the Columbia email sounds as if they are sending them out to people above a certain LSAT score. K has anyone successfully solicited Penn/Michigan, or should I wait for those 2 before I email them?

Actually, yes. Vandy and Michigan. Vandy is still just a maybe (where before it had been a no way jose), but Michigan's a definite now.Otunga wrote:Anybody entertaining schools they likely wouldn't have prior to receiving a fee waiver? After I got the fee waiver for Pitt, I got an email from them thanking me for my interest in their school.
I've never contacted them.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
