Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
Just got an unsolicited from UVA. 3.18/175. Doesn't matter since they gave me a solicited one a few weeks ago when I only had June's score of 169.

Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
Hey everybody. Here is what I have so far. 3.9/170
Solicited:
-Georgetown
-Michigan
-UCLA said to check back next week if I didn't have one. I think they are doing a CRS search this week.
-NYU said no merit-based waivers, only need-based. Can someone confirm this?
-Berkeley said only need-based also.
I emailed pretty much the rest of the top fourteen along with a few other schools so I'll keep updating. Also got a few unsolicited but none Im interested in applying to just yet.

+1, got this as well, though don't know if I'll bother with my 3.3/170.scottybared wrote:Just got an unsolicited from UVA. 3.18/175. Doesn't matter since they gave me a solicited one a few weeks ago when I only had June's score of 169.

I just noticed that I have a hidden fee waiver from Northwestern that wasn't there yesterday. They tend to send them out without emails. 3.18/175.

+1. My 3.3/170 is not going to cut it there.iamrobk wrote:Got Columbia unsolicited with a 171/3.53. Definitely not getting in there haha.
Would be great if Vanderbilt or Penn would send one my way though.

Yeah I'd love one from Penn. I also just got an invitation to apply to Georgetown but it specifically said the fee isn't waived. Wtf haha? How common are these emails?Cornelius wrote:+1. Hidden UCLA, big surprise there. I was prepared to pay the fee until I got a pleasant surprise. My stats are really borderline for UCLA, though, so this is really a kind of hail mary thing. But I'd love to get in. Still, saving $75 here helps soften the blow of GWU's $80.

Re: 2011-12 Cycle Fee Waiver Tracking
I just got the same email from Georgetown. Five minutes later, I get another, seemingly identical email. But this one says the fee is waived. Perhaps the same will happen for you.iamrobk wrote:Yeah I'd love one from Penn. I also just got an invitation to apply to Georgetown but it specifically said the fee isn't waived. Wtf haha? UVA, Columbia, & Texas today.
Plus W&L, W&M, & Cardozo.
Got the GULC invite as well. What a let down.
