It has been foreseen that W&L improved their employment + bar passing rate significantly, but increasing 12 spots is unprecedented !

It also was unprecedented when they dropped like 15 or 20 spots to fall into the 40s several years ago. The current ranking appears to be more in line with their historical ranking.

To be clear, UT has not joined anything. UT is still just outside the meaningful distinction. It is now the T13.

We have come to the conclusion that it is now to be called the T13 here at my t13 school. UT is a regional school (whether they like it or not), and GT is really GTTT. So, T13 it is. UT and GT I imagine will now try to make T15 a thing lol

What conclusion will you come to next year when UT passes your school in the rankings? GULC kids also once thought they were safe and smugly tried to exclude UT. No school is safe with UT on the rise.

If UT knocks off Duke/UVA, I will fly to the moon on the back of a rocket strapped pig. But truly UT is still regional, they do not have the national brand nor employment stats. It was a long time coming for GT, but UT doesn't get automatically included into the group now. It is t13, the last bastions of national law schools. Berkeley is on its way out too, soon it will be the t12.
