Depends. For me, it came months after completion. For many others, it came before completion. There isn't a strict pattern - except that autoadmits tended to get the email before completion.

benny, it seems that several solid (but not autoadmit) candidates are getting calls after they go complete. The autoadmits have been mixed.

Hmm... not sure what to make of all that. If we take their word for it, that's... confusing.

More confusing is the fact that I never got a complete email. I just status-checked myself last week and found that I was under review (the week before, I had been incomplete).

FWIW Benny, I got a complete email in mid-November or thereabouts, and now that I have the status checker, it says that I have been complete since the 29th of October. They seem to send out the complete email a couple of weeks after completion.

Great... now there's the question of whether they report going complete when they get the email, or whether it's just after they status-check and find out they're complete.

Even worse, the status check wasn't even operational until a couple weeks ago!

I know. But I'm agonizing about the uncertainty anyway. Because that's all I can do at this point.

I got the complete e-mail yesterday, but according to the status checker I was complete a bit earlier than that. I'm not reading anything into it, but I am certainly no "auto-admit" in any case.

Benny, I'm the same as Snap - went complete at the same time, called on the same day as him (months later). I wouldn't worry. Unless you're an auto-admit they probably just have a lot of files to sort through.

sorry to take this thread in a slightly different direction but does anybody that has been accepted and received the binder know how to log in to the email account that harvard provides? i can log in to the admitted students part but not to the email account...any help will be appreciated

blurg! just had my TS1. i read so many posts about how you feel like everything you said was not enough or weird and i kind of feel that way!! it ran a little long (8.5 mins) so i'm worried i blathered on and repeated myself. ahhh. now the waiting for the call (and being afraid to leave my desk) is replaced by waiting for...oh yeah, another call.
