Dunno why the entire state of Missouri didn't make your cut-off, but we are definitely a midwestern state.

When I lived in california, a decent number of people didn't know that st. louis was in missouri. East Coast peeps were similarly oblivious about our middle portion of the country. When I lived in new orleans, people considered st. louis a midwestern city. Up in minneapolis, st. louis is in southern territory.

We consider ourselves midwestern, but everyone else either doesn't give a shit or doesn't know what they're talking about.

Sadly, that sounds about right.

You're called the flyover states for a reason.

Normally the rankings are released in a print copy of the USNWR. This year, they are releasing an online version first.

There's only one time zone in the US.

The countdown clock on the USNews website correlates to each time zone.

It's funny how people who hate USNWR rankings are the first ones to check whether their school(s) have moved up a spot or two.

Did Berkeley drop because CA's school system is going down the toilet, or what?
