i also like how you edited out the part about how edgy mack is
looks like we have ourselves some real edit ninjas in c/o 2018

I've met real life Baylor students and heard their horror stories first hand.
Job numbers seem ok, hopefully it's cheap for people who attend.

To be fair, his post was rather edgy.

Agreed on both counts. I have spoken with several recent grads who echo the "beware, this place is not disneyland" warning, but all of them did recommend attending if it was at a steep discount.BigZuck wrote:I've met real life Baylor students and heard their horror stories first hand.

I'm not a Baylor apologist, but it isn't a toilet for those with modest goals.

I also liked the "all the 1Ls I know have summer jobs/externships" point, as if the same couldn't be said of just about any law school. That one wasn't even on my bingo card.TheOnePercent wrote:LULZ Michigan thread attributing low BL/FC #'s "completely [to] self-selection." Wasn't able to fill this out before.
78: Brooklyn - BL+FC-12.8% (-1.2%), FTLTBR-52.4% (-4.1%), FTLTBR (w/o LSF)-52.4% (-4.1%)
Still missing:
Temple
CUNY
John Marshall Atlanta
Belmont
Have these schools missed a deadline?

Re: Latest employment data
Not so sure if an analysis of CoA is even possible or that it would be meaningful. If the sticker is $40k and the data shows the average student is paying $25k, it still would be irrelevant. For someone with a 3.8/172 is the CoA could be minimal. A 3.3/162 might get you waitlisted for the opportunity of paying sticker.yomisterd wrote:guys we must go deeper. we need an analysis of CoA + V10.
What could work is a formula based rate card but, as is, negotiating college is the same as dealing with a car salesman.

COA = Cost of Attendance
At least that's what I gathered from his post.

Just a wild guess, but I think CoA in this context was getting at court of appeals...Saddle Up wrote:Not so sure if an analysis of CoA is even possible or that it would be meaningful. I think you're right about that. As a 1L the court of appeals is not exactly on my radar. Re: Latest employment data
although actually now that i think about it
cornell is probably super nyc heavy
so that probably explains part of it
still, impressive
i'm actually going to re-do this using grade selective firms (as opposed to just v10) when i have the chance
probably this weekend

The REAL new tiers (NFL law, the only important metric):
HGR (Whorevard, GW, Rutgers)
YWT (Yalé, Widener, Tulane)
SPBG (Stamford, Penn, Berkeley, GTown)
You heard it here first
