You probably already know this, but you can email Michigan for a waiver. You probably have hidden NYU. You won't get HYS or Boalt.

Is anyone else getting borderline harassed by Michigan State- I've received 4+ emails and at least the same number of letters/postcards in the mail.

So I've gotten a bunch of fee waivers, but no mail from anywhere ever. Is this a problem? Some of them TOLD me in the email a viewbook or whatever is coming, but haven't received it.....I think this might be because I have a PO box?

I've had two phone calls from them since Monday about the "$100,000" scholarship. It is a little much.

Seems like GWU sent out some unsolicited fee waivers the other week.

I solicited one from GW last week. I've heard they're not very honest about it, though. Other TLSers have tried and been told that GW doesn't give merit-based waivers. They gave me a code to input FWIW.

Did you send an email? If so, what did you say?

I just used the standard fee waiver email template from TLS. If you search for 'fee waiver email' then I'm sure it'll come up. Honestly, unless you sound like a total douchebag in the email, I think what you say is way less important than whether your numbers compel the school to grant you a waiver. That's all it's based on. Anyway, my email to GW said the following:

Hello,

I am really interested in applying to George Washington Law School, and am writing to ask if I could be considered for a merit-based fee waiver. I am an AA male, my GPA is X, my LSAT is Y.

Please let me know if this is possible.

Thanks,

YES. Last year I felt like I was being stalked by MSU but this year seems even worse.

Has anyone had luck soliciting a waiver out of NYU, Chicago, or Cornell?

Still nothing from any of them but I don't want to look like an idiot emailing.

jdadmit@law.gwu.edu. I think that's just the general admissions email on their website.

So far I solicited fee waivers from Buffalo and Pace. I got these only with my GPA, I just took the LSAT on Saturday, so no score for me yet.

My top schools are 1) Fordham or 2) Cardozo. Would it be wise to ask for a fee waiver? If so, is it better to wait until get my score?

Thanks.

Not sure about Cardoza, but I asked for a waiver from Fordham (and my LSAT is way above their 75th) and they told me they didn't give out merit-based waivers.

This.

Also, Quinnipiac is starting to get annoying.
