Cincinnati dropped 6 (161-155), including 3 points this year.
University of the Pacific also dropped 7 points over 4 years.

2011: 158
2012: 156
2013: 154
2014: 151

I'm looking to see if I can find any others.
Pacific was 158 in 2010, too, so we have a tie.

7-point drops for:
Brooklyn
American
University of the Pacific
Western New England

...and Suffolk, which could be more pending the release of this year's stats.

San Francisco dropped from 159 in 2010 to 153 in 2013, so a 2-point drop could make it our champion, or a 1-point drop could at least tie it (so far).

It would be an awesome start if the ABA revoked the charter for any school that can't maintain a 150 median. LOL at that ever happening.

Another potential contender is Arizona Summit (formerly Phoenix school of law) from 150-144, with this year's stats outstanding. Hard to imagine it sinking to 142 though.

I think there's a better chance of Palestinians and Israelis becoming best friends than that ever happening

And finally, Suffolk has company

Valpo Law:

2010: 150
2011: 149
2012: 149
2013: 143!!
2014: ???

7-point drop with this year's stats to come. 143 is the lowest median I've seen yet. And Valpo isn't even a for-profit school, and has a larger university attached...

A 143 is the 20.5 percentile for all LSAT takers. Brutal. The school surely is aware that they aren't doing anyone any favors by admitting them. Wonder what their bar % will be in three years.

Well, I think that's it. We have 6 schools with 7-point drops (but two have yet to release this year's medians), and 2 schools with 6-point drops that have yet to release 2014 stats (USF, Summit). I didn't find any other schools with 6-7 point drops that haven't yet released for this year, but I didn't look at every school, either. I mostly just used LST to search the extra scammy states like CA, FL, OH, IN, NY, and MA (these states seem to have the vast majority of scam schools, for whatever reason).

But if someone knows of another, please chime in. Otherwise, we're just waiting on Valpo, Suffolk, USF, and Summit to see if we can get an 8-point drop, or whether we have a 6, 7, or 8-way tie for the Ultra-Toilet Law School Median Drop Competition, 2014.

Not positive these are new stats--but very different from the spreadsheet so here goes:
Cal Western:
224 (-32)
149 (-1)
3.16 (+0.03)

Wasn't UIUC at 167 before the crash/scandal?

Yeah, I forgot about them. I do think they had one year of a legit 167 median.

Nevertheless, it seems they raised their median 1 point this year to 161, so that would take them out of the running (provided the median increase is verified). Otherwise, we have a 7-way tie.

Pless got caught claiming the 168 median for the 2011 entering class. 168 looks so much like 163.

Jeez. You have to wonder why these people even want to go to law school. Wouldn't doing that poorly on the LSAT deter you from wanting to go into law? Don't people that enroll with 143's realize that they are probably never going to pass the bar exam?

A 161 is pretty huge. That puts us equal to, or ahead of, all other non-t14 B1G schools. Definitely a nice turnaround for Illinois.

Edit: Class size is 158
Rising medians and the prospect for rising in the rankings is fine and dandy, but the fact that UIUC is intelligent enough to reduce their class from 231 graduating in 2013 to 158 entering now, shows me that they are actually interested in ensuring that their students get law jobs. 158 is less than the total class of 2013 that got jobs requiring a JD.

Kudos to you, UIUC.

+1. Law schools shouldn't be allowed to enroll more than number of students who had job offers in prior year.

I'm excited to see ABA reports to see exactly how much money some schools threw around. Does anyone know if there is anywhere that has the data from previous reports in a spreadsheet or anything, or is the only way to go report to report?

It is unreasonable for any law school to graduate 100% of its class into lawyer jobs, much less "desirable" lawyer jobs. Of course, some argue whether any job as a lawyer can be called desirable, but that's another topic altogether. I'd say, a law school should enroll only as many students that they can reasonably expect 9 out of 10 to get jobs requiring a JD. Totally arbitrary, but it would do away with tens of thousands of underemployed, over indebted law grads.

I can't wait to see the rest of UIUC's numbers. Lifelong Chicagoan, not totally interested in Biglaw and UIUC is my #1 pick. Anybody got a clue when those 75th percentiles will be out? I beat both for the class of 2016… And I hate debt.

Correction: If a significant portion of your class is unemployed, you should be required to shrink your class. I tend toward hyperbole.
