This. Erie is 100% on the money and I'm sure the same logic applies everywhere.
I have a friend from Seattle who just graduated and one from Pittsburgh who graduated back in 2011 when the market was rough as hell. They didn't go to UW or Pitt.
They went to a T14 and came back to biglaw easily, and they had tons of midlaw/shitlaw offers. One was at median and the other bottom 1/3.

However, can we stop deviating and get back to the fking medians?

This neglects the obvious answer that if you can go to a T14, you can go for free to your state flagship (usually). A full ride to Iowa, if you want to work in Iowa, is superior to sticker at a T14 in so many ways. If you don't care about biglaw, which you shouldn't if you want to work in a flyover state, then going to a T14 without a significant discount would actually be stupid.

Remember that the key here is "if you don't want biglaw". Obviously if you want that, Harvard is going to take you further than Mississippi. But if you don't, taking a full ride at Mississippi is almost certainly a better option than taking out insane loans from Harvard to get the same job anyway.

That's Property. We just started the lead up to RAP, so you may not necessarily have gotten there yet even if you do have that class this semester.

eh, state flagship, highest ranked in a nativist state (by far) and one of the cheapest law schools in America, not that surprising IMO. The place to go if you want to practice law in MS (and have ties, of course).

Mississippi College's medians, on the other hand, is really something to watch.

Let's be clear on what the TLS credo is. It's not "go to a T14 or don't be a lawyer." It's "go to a school whose potential reward justifies its cost." So "just get a 3.7/170" is not useful advice. If you are MS resident, and you actually want to be a lawyer, and you are comfortable with practicing in MS your entire career, then going to Ole Miss for $15k/year is a perfectly fine thing to do.

Let's refrain from pointing out missing data in the spreadsheet. The people who update it lead busy lives and we shouldn't posts things that may be perceived as criticism.
Having the spreadsheet at all is a nice resource and privilege.

UIUC's Median LSAT is a 161 according to a couple faculty members that I've spoken with. Rest of the details won't be released until we get them back from LSAC.

A 161 is pretty huge. That puts us equal to, or ahead of, all other non-t14 B1G schools. Definitely a nice turnaround for Illinois.

So both Brooklyn and American have dropped 7 points from peak. Is there anything worse? Hard to imagine anyone beating that. If it is, it has to similarly be a second-rate private school not connected to a well-funded parent university, I would think.

Cincinnati dropped 6 (161-155), including 3 points this year.

Florida Coastal dropped from a peak of 149 to 144 last year, so if it somehow manages to drop 2 points this year (a 142 median would be pretty hard to wrap your head around), it could tie American/Brooklyn.
