I have emailed a number of schools requesting a waiver, and they all send me a form asking for detailed financial information that I've already provided to LSAC.
Well, if you've taken the LSAT, likely some schools have emailed you or sent you packages telling you that they are giving you fee waivers. Other schools will have "hidden" CRS fee waivers that you wouldn't find out about until you checkout.
If you email schools about fee waivers: some might just give you them based on merit, telling you that its in the system or giving you a code to use at checkout, while others will not give merit waivers, and instead tell you that you can submit financial info if you want a need-based fee waiver.
