Side note, Cornell is doing fantastic. Small class size seems to work very well for them. And I think it should be CCNP at this point in time given Penn's numbers. Or maybe even CCP.

You admit that you're a 0L, but then you claim that CCN should be changed to CCNP or CCP? What's your basis for this, besides a cursory glance at one year's worth of BL+FedClerk outcomes? You might think your comment is completely innocent, but spouting personal opinions with little basis and experience is potentially harmful to people on this forum seeking legitimate info and advice.

Plus, going to Cornell with a good scholarship is probably better than going to NYU at sticker, which plenty of people do.

For those interested in NYC big law, I think Penn and NYU give you roughly the same shot. But NYU offers some other things--notably PI and government opportunities--that Penn isn't particularly good at. For many people, those other things are a lot more appealing than NYC big law.

Look, I think the whole notion of sub-tiers is silly. I don't even think "T6" is a thing in real life. I'm not trying to defend NYU's place in an imaginary pecking order. But if you're faced with a decision between Penn and NYU at equal cost, and if you aren't set on big law, it probably makes more sense to choose NYU.
