No, not yet...honestly I have everything ready for nearly all my schools, except Penn, which doesn't accept apps till the 24th anyway. All my documents are uploaded and I've previewed all my apps on LSAC, but I get really nervous about actually submitting them! I'm going to wait a few days just in case anything to add pops into my head.kazu wrote:Hemm! Did you send in your Michigan apps?? (I reallly, really should get started on my personal statement... Ugh!!)hemm wrote:Got a hidden Michigan waiver today!
Good luck!

I have no idea. Maybe our GPAs are slightly off from each other and that's making the difference?eskimo wrote:Why haven't we gotten all the same ones?dulcatis wrote:Me too! Because this is how Schools pick who to give fee waivers to:dulcatis wrote:I have no idea. Asked BU for one yesterday. "Unfortunately, we are unable to provide merit-based fee waivers upon request."

Re: Application Fee Waivers - Fall 2011 Applicants
Did a little research in last year's thread:
NYU hidden waivers appeared as early as September 8.
Penn hidden waivers began popping up on September 17. Viewbooks and snail-mail letters were sent out with some applicants receiving them as early as September 20, and others not getting them until October.
Columbia sent email fee waivers on September 17, but hidden ones appeared several days before for some applicants.
Hope this is helpful for others waiting to hear from the rest of the T-14!

I keeping looking at this thread and the FAQ / chat thread as a race, even though it's mostly the same people in both.
Anyway, this thread has fallen several pages behind, so I'll post in it. No waivers to report.

I have come to the conclusion that receiving fee waivers, for me, is toxic. I've been contemplating not sending apps to those who did not send them.

I wish waivers were transferable. I would totally trade my Chicago waiver for a Duke PT. Despite its fancy high ranking, I have zero desire to go there.

Me too. I only got the fee waiver from Duke, not PT, but if I did get PT after my retake, I would totally trade you for Chicago! I will throw in Vandy, too, though I think you said you already got that one.

I'm with you here, if I were on the fence about a particular school and I'm seeing that they're giving waivers to people who have similar numbers, then I'm pretty much going to cross them off my list.JohnBoy wrote:I have come to the conclusion that receiving fee waivers, for me, is toxic.
