I got Cardozo and Columbia today in addition to WUSTL this morning.

Don't care about Cardozo. I don't want NY that bad. But, wtf is Columbia thinking? They have my GPA. There's not a snowball's chance in hell that I'm getting in there.

This year I have a 171 and I didn't get a WUSTL waiver, even after forwarding them the one they sent me last year and giving them my updated info. Should I just assume no response from them means i'm not gonna get a waiver? Or should I call them and ask (since they're not responding to e-mails)? Or just wait it out a little longer?

And no it hasn't nothing to do with my CRS not being updated or something cause i've received unsolicited waivers from multiple T14's and other schools.
I know its only been like a half hour, but i'm bumping this cause i'm OCD about getting my apps in early and if the consensus is i'm out of luck here, i'm just going to suck it up, pay and be done with it. Thoughts?

I got it too. And they are sending a viewbook... exciting...

Yeah, odd how they kept emphasizing the LSAT thing. Especially considering the fact that I got the waiver and my LSAT is 169. I felt like their disclaimer (basically - getting the waiver doesn't mean you will get in) was directed squarely at me.
Funny, I figured it was aimed at a splitter like me. But I already saw the viewbook--I went to a info session there over the summer.

I wrote them a week ago asking about a public service fee waiver and they are one of the only schools who has not responded.

When are most of you sending out your apps?
Ive sent out all of my apps excluding Penn and Michigan (mulling over the supplemental essays) that are open right now. Still waiting on Davis, GW, and Georgetown to be ready to accept

Yes, hidden a few days ago and e-mail today. Feb was my only administration.

Georgetown - solicited?
Berk - solicited
WUSTL
Penn - solicited?
Mich
GW
UVA - solicited
Fordham - solicited
NW
Chicago
UCLA - solicited?
BC - solicited?
Duke
Iowa
Minnesota
Wisconsin
William and Mary
Emory
Washington and Lee

3.8 / 168

Some of them are solicited. The ones marked as such are obviously solicited. However, I sent out a bunch of emails asking for merit or military fee waivers, and some of the schools that didnt respond sent me a generic fee waiver email/snail mail a few days later. So not sure if those were genuinely solicited or if it was just per chance. Those are marked by "solicited?"

I know it's different than soliciting a waiver, but I got my LSAC needs based waiver and am pretty happy that that's a lot of stress off of my shoulder :)

I got a bunch from TTTT's and I responded to them with:

"Please remove me from this mailing list."

TLS has totally taught me to be angry with TTTT's and their deceitful ways. Apparently Tulsa and Valparaiso law have "internationally recognized programs."

Did MSU call anyone else? I'm out of the country and my dad answered and was basically told to tell me I have a full ride if I apply. They are certainly persistent.

No call for me, but I got an email from a 2L who's from my hometown saying the essentially the same thing. It's kind of starting to get annoying lol

I took the LSAT ages ago and I've gotten:

Michigan (letter with handwritten comment totally beats out email, let me just say)
Penn
Vanderbilt
UT
Northwestern
UCLA
Virginia
Chicago
Duke

And a variety of schools that I don't think I'll use: Tulsa, Ohio State, Valparasio (I think they've sent me 3 or 4 different emails, including the fee waiver), Cincinnati, William and Mary, W&L, Seattle, San Diego, etc.

I have gotten more than a few emails from schools w/ obvious errors. Funny considering the most cited piece of admissions advice is the whole "don't send Why-A to school B" etc.

Yeah, but just imagine if your name was Contact Here.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
