Georgia State (normally around 50ish and ranked the past few years by ATL Top 50) is literally no where in this leaked top 100. Seems like a note impossible but unlikely drop...

I would have had a heart attack had GA State been ousted out of the T100 lol, it's super underrated especially at its price point. I feel that the ranking of GA law schools provide a great example as to how off base these rankings are though. Emory is a great school, but there's no doubt that they have been struggling over the past few years, especially in comparison to their in state competitors. In the most recent data, over 21% of Emory's graduates are in school-funded jobs. UGA and GA State, both have 0 students in school-funded jobs. When omitting school-funded jobs, both UGA and GA State have higher rates of employing their graduates. Additionally, Emory's GA bar passage rate is comparatively abysmal at 78.9% (dropped from 87.3% in 14'). GA state's 84 (dropped from 92% in '14) and UGA's is 87 (dropped from 93.9% '14). How can Emory be ranked so far ahead of two schools that outperform them at #22? It all seems like a drunken dartboard game

Couldn't agree more with the Emory skepticism. ATL had them at #47 I think last year. Funny to me that US News claims to be factoring in school funded significantly more and Emory stays pretty steady while employing a fifth of their class in school funded.

Because usnwr rankings methodology is retarded and the rankings don't actually matter

86 for both Penn State-UP and Penn State-Dickinson, dropping ~30 spots in the last two cycles. Was curious to see how they'd shake out this year in the first year of separated campuses - Penn State's combined employment was terrible for CO14 grads, but Dickinson's first medians were pretty strong. Curious to see how they fall in next year's rank.

Big jump for Villanova, too, as they keep creeping back to where they were pre-scandal. Pitt holds steady (and by proxy passes the Penn States) and Temple has the numbers, market and employment to be a legit T1.
