Okay, that was a WAY better crack than I was expecting. Kudos.

Here's data for schools that TLS doesn't really care about. With the exception of Santa Clara for which I only looked at the full time medians, I used the ABA's total (full time + part time) to calculate the LSAT/GPA change so there's a chance the difference between the 2010 and 2011 medians might be off. Honestly, I was interested to see how the drop in applicants affected medians more so than anything.

University of Mississippi: 155 (-1), 3.48 (-.03)
Lewis and Clark: 161 (-1), 3.49 (+.01)
Oklahoma City: 151 (+1), 3.13 (-.01)
Roger Williams: 151 (no change), 3.3 (no change)
Akron : 153 (-2), 3.37 (no change)
Santa Clara (Full Time): 160 (no change), 3.25 (-.1)
Michigan State: 157 (no change), 3.54 (+.02)
Wayne State: 157 (+1), 3.39 (-.01)

Iowa: 161 (unchanged)

GPA: 3.67 (I think, not 100% positive on that number)

Ole Miss' medians went down?

Ole Miss' biggest failure since terminating all of it's law professors after some wanted to integrate?

Building it's new law school in Oxford instead of Jackson.

Michigan, from the viewbook I received in the mail along with my fee waiver:

GPA: 3.75 (+0.02)
LSAT: 169 (no change)

There's a little disclaimer saying that this is an estimate from July 21, 2011.

Applications dropped from 6,312 to 5,430

Why is this unfortunate, may I ask? Applications are down across the board, if I heard correctly. A steady LSAT and an increase in GPA is hardly something to complain about.

Not that I've heard. According to their website "* 2011 Entering Class information will be available in September after Registration and Orientation has taken place." So hang in there GG, you'll find out soon enough! As for me, I'm going to be watching UW/Cornell's medians closely.

we were expecting slight drops all around, and I could really use help with the gpa (though it doesn't really matter since there's no way the median will get as low as mine)

Thanks, Kevin. I'll try to find some patience, I suppose.

Baylor's stats for Fall 2011 Class:

Median LSAT: 163 (+1)
Median GPA: 3.75 (+.02)

# of matrics dropped from 105 to 62 from Fall 2010 to Fall 2011, not sure what app #s look like.

Edit: Spring 2011 numbers went up and # matrics slightly up. Summer 2011 # matrics stayed roughly the same but med GPA 3.65 (-.1) & med LSAT 158 (-2) took big hits.

Seems like no real trend. No evidence of a widespread drop in medians due to fewer applications. Not yet, anyway.

Basically I'm just bumping the thread.

I'd say there is a trend: medians seem to be staying relatively static, especially in the T14. This is actually a big change from recent years since medians were going up consistently. It's good news, for everyone except those with 3.98/179

hate to double post this request, but are there any new 1Ls at Minnesota who can post the new medians?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
